Hello,

Ive been a member on here for a while now, but always kept quiet.

I picked up my LCR a week and a half ago. show i thought id put a few photos of the little beast up.

SPEC:

Eibach coilovers
Forge 007
FMIC
TIP
Twin cone filter
Bonnet bra
3" decat back
Auto gauge boost gauge
Revo Remap, Think its a stage 1 but the PO reckoned it was pushing around 280bhp ( definitely feels it)
HIDS.
spacers all round

This when i picked her up.

And this is now

SO ive had it a week and ive bought the following:

Liquid gauge ( should be delivered tues/wed)
S3 strut brace ( just waiting for me to paint it red)
4mm,5mm and 8 mm vacuum hosing (red )
forge boost pipe auxillery pipe kit.
Pressed plates
LEd number plate bulbs
New red cone filter as the other one was long and blue.
forge DV service kit.
New genuine splitter.
Service items.
Red paint for the battery cover.

Items to buy this week:

EBC ultimate timing kit ( any body had experience with these? )
New headlight lens's, the PO had tinted the lights so drive around with full beam on and brunt the lens.
Poly bushes for front end ( on MOT advisory, missed that when i was buying lol )

This weekends jobs are to get my Inlet mani and charge pipe polished up :D
this car has to be ready for Volkfest in 3 weeks :O

Looks a top motor mate !!:)

nice example mate..... love the red wheels on a grey LCR :)

got some nice mods there already.... if its stage 1 it'll be running between 255 and 265bhp, not 280bhp. but it's not all about the numbers, it's how it drives and puts that power onto the Tarmac that matters :)

looking forward to the next mod :D

Enquired about this when my mate was looking.
Had seriouse problems with the V5/Registration when I enquired.
Something like vehicles been stolen/written off ect?

I did a hpi on it and it said further investigation required, so I rang dvla and they confirmed it hasn't been written off. It didn't bother me really I got a decent chunk of the asking price off and I plan on never selling it :D

Liquid gauge fitting all working and only took me half hour, new platinum plugs in which sorted out my erratic idle, now just to spray that s3 brace and get that fitted.

Any one used the EBC timing kit ?

a little bit of progress this weekend,

Sprayed my strut brace red ( needs sanding back and another coat as the cardboard got stuck to it :( ) absolutely brickin it about drilling my struts lol

I also repainted my coolant cap and washer cap.

Then i changed my dip stick guide as mine was so brittle it snapped when i touched it, not the best design.

Have done a bit of work on her since the last update:

New auxiliary boost hoses
Pcv Simplification (just gotta fit a catch can now)
New "R" Badges
Dynamated the boot
New Rocker gasket
New oil pick up pipe

Also ive got quite a few parts waiting to be fitted
4 new bearings
Ive got OE bushes, but hopefully ill have some polybushes this week.
New door seal ordered as it was a puddle the other day.
New front debadged gril
New top mounts and bearings
Had to order new coilover springs as mine snapped the other day, 4-5 week wait as eibach have to custom make them and come from germany :(
Still got the strut brace to fit but cant bring myself to drill my struts

Did you paint the symbols on the washer/coolant caps red after they were done black mate? Been thinking of doing that myself, just not sure wether to do them red first then wire wool the black back, or paint the red on afterwards.

Yeah I spray them black then just took a fen paint brush over the emblem in red, only took half hour including drying time.
