16" Bridgestone Turanza 205/55 R16 91V for me. Seem fine at present compliant and quiet except on coarse roads. Decibel readings will follow in due course cf with Run Flats (horrid, noisy and harsh)
I just checked a photo I took on 17th July of a brand new unregistered SEAT Leon FR 5-Door fitted with standard 17" alloys (just delivered to the dealer off the transporter) and it was fitted with Pirelli Cinturato P7 225/45 R17 91W tyres. It will be interesting to see if these are also fitted to my new Leon 1.8 TSI DSG 5-door FR with standard 17" alloys which I'm due to collect from the dealer at the end of next week.

I have Pirelli P7's, seem ok so far. The last lot of P7's were very poor when the temperature dropped it was very difficult to get the power down on a cold damp day

Leon MK2 fl FR TDI CR, October 2010, came with them on from new.
I changed to Michelin Pilot Sport 3's which were much better during the winter but did not grip as well as the P7's when the temperature was above 10°C, wear rate was about the same.
The present car is the Leon SC TDI 184, the P7's are a different pattern and seem to have more rubber on the road rather than the wide groves in the previous ones.

Our Leon 1.2 with optional 17" rims came with Pirelli Cinturato P7 225/45 R17 tyres. As some reviewers mentioned, the tyre does lose some grip when it's very cold. The traction control came in earnest Monday morning when it was 4 C and raining and my wife took the car on a roundabout at 30+ mph. The car stayed put though - no sliding.
I have Michelin Alpins for winter which I think are excellent. They really shine on wet roads, ice and slush. I'm planning on putting them on this weekend to avoid lines next month. I actually got better mpg with them than the Potenza tyres which came on my Golf 1.4 - go figure! - and they are quieter too.

Bridgestone Turanzas on mine too. Had em on my Civic, they were OK.
My last car (Mazda 3) came with Toyo Proxes on it. They should have been called Toyo Poxies - they were simply dangerous in the wet - back end had a tendency to slide around when cornering on anything but the smoothest of tarmac (like, new road tarmac).
I soon swapped them for Conti Sportcontact 5s, and felt a whole lot safer.

Just looked at my FR with 18" wheels and it has Conti SportContact 225/40 R18 92Y tyres all round
As far as I know, Continental CSC5 (your tyres) are very good gyres. Are you happy with them? How is your ride comfort with these tyros and 18 inch rims?
Wonder if Seat put P7's on as standard as they work well in the Spanish (generally warmer) climate; maybe they should think about differnet tyres for exporting cars to the generally cooler/wetter climes... overall, seems a lot of people prefer none-OEM tyres when replacing worn out boots.
I got my new Leon 5-door FR 1.8TSI DSG with the standard 17 inch alloy wheels yesterday and they are fitted with 225/45R17 91W Bridgestone Turanza ER300 tyres. I think the car is a week 39 build. Does anyone else have these tyres and know how they perform (noise, grip, life, etc)?

Picked up my Leon 5DR SE today. The 17" wheels have Pirelli P7s.
In the same showroom was a SC with Bridgestone Furanza and a Toledo with 17" wheels with Dunlops.
It looks like pot luck to me.
I will be happy with the P7s. There have been comments about their grip in cold weather in the UK.
Here in Southern Spain we don't do cold and it rarely rains. 26c and sunny today. That said, in the North of Spain everyone buys snow chains in their local supermarket!
