new wepon asz bora with 186k remapped to 178bhp and 310lbft going like a watch puff of smoke in the morning but it clears after a few seconds these things are bullet proof lol

There will be a bit of play in your turbo shaft bearings. My has a wee bit of blue on start up then nothing. There is oil getting past the seals/bearings in the turbo.

2004 TDi 1.9 Cupra just ticked over 81k

Why diesel? because I love the torque. Not an mpg thing and have had diesels for a good 20 years now.

Never had a bad one including all the 205's and 306's in the past.

Prior to the Leon I had a PD100 Golf which I took from 82k to 136k. No problems, serviced yearly just needed consumables and a cambelt + bits.

my 55 plate leon fr tdi pd150 has 92k on her 91k motorway milage aswell just bought her last month !!
