Just re-read page 1...extra 30bhp from the s3 cooler? Surely not! I fitted one last week, definitely doesn't feel 30bhp more!

its that ive got a custom code map on thats a bit pants(no offence to anyone) so with the s3 cooler on ill be gaining 30 bhp ish with the stage 2+ remap

took about 5 hours over 2 days,even done round the door inners etc with srp so its easier to clean,it does stand out sooo much better now

well after 6 hours i finally fitted the s3 intercooler by stripping the whole front end down and fitted the THS engine mounts
just the s-alk kit to fit now,4 wheel alignment then stage 2 + remap

when i fitted the fmic i noticed how hot the intake pipe was on the twintake so i ordered some heat wrap and after 20 mins job done

just a quick update
been down to awesome gti on thursday for an RS4 valve and stage 2+ apr remap
330 bhp 378 lbft now 350 bhp 429lbft
had the switchable maps on and the antitheft installed.i love the valet mode thats limits the throttle if i let the car go into the garage for some work and know they cant give it a thrashing after lol
impressed with the smoothness and driveability of the car now but need to save up for some semi slicks to keep the bloody thing from wheel spinning
now the THS engine mounts are fitted i just need to install the s-alk kit and have the 4 wheel alignment done and the car should be perfect....for now!
