i finely found where they where hinding the volvo truck coin holders so i kind of borrowed one from the stores o sit in my rear cup holder due to i never use it becasue cans and cups etc always seem to fall out so i made a good use of it

look at what mr post man brought me i wonder whats in this box well i guess its from halfords

photo_zpsc5196e7d.jpg

my new head unit with bluetooth parrot and song player (apple compaterable) aux port and usb port plus back lit red wanted it to be color matching plus steering wheel control ready

photo_zps590be070.jpg
[/IMG]

my alpine cbe 133bt head unit fitted was a bit of a pain in the arse to get into the hole due to the wires then after fitting i found out the parrrot voice control was not working and that i had forgot to plug in the mircophone silly me

photo_zpsaf626b71.jpg
[/IMG]

next day removed head unit fitted and mouted the mircophone in the under storage compartemnt

photo_zps5b374870.jpg
[/IMG]

went down to seat and orderd some fr top corner grills so they match the lower grill just need to buy some paint to color code them with the other grills and ill post pics once fitted

photo_zpsdde845af.jpg
[/IMG]

now i have been after one of these lower dog bone mounts for quite some time so finaly orderd a superpro diesel version it was alot harder than expected i have got to say it makes a world of diffrance when driveing it makes the car feel more responceve
reduces wheel hop
the engine in fact feels more like its actually in the bay in fact i love the way it makes it drive..

but on that noat i hope it gets softer in time because the engine vibration when in idel is awfull feels like its trying to rattel the car to bits this does stop when driving but my car does idel alot in traffic so ill trial it for a month or so see if it improves if not ill have to change it which is a hugh shame and am hoping i dont have to due to how better it drives

the old one sat in potion

new bush fitted making sure its pointed and faceing the write potion

and finaly the new superpro bush fitted and sat in place

you could have got them grills in anthracite without needing to paint them

i enjoy your updates.
ive been put off lower engine mount after fitting one to my pd150 leon it never fully settled down enough for me to like it.
it was a bloody awesome mod on my old 20vt cupra though stopped the engine feeling like it was going to end up on my lap.
ive really taken a liking to yellow mk4s lately i think i would have got a yellow one if i hadnt found such a low mileage black one.
yellow is definatly seats signature colour even if that havent all stayed that colour.

Cheers Cupra. Al I do agree that yellow is seats signiture color that's why I wanted a yellow one over any other color.

I did look at them facelift fr grills due to them being color coded but the honey cone is larger than the standerd lower grill on the Cupra where the ones I have are the same I will be making a honey cone center one with s badge in the center when I hve the spere time

next on the cards i was thinking of doing something a little diffrent again i look in the rear wheels and the rear brakes look lost so i have an idea todo what the honda civic has done with the back plates on the new type Rs so am going to get some type r back plates cut mine down so there not viewable and weld the honda once to mine then mount.. just need to do some resurch and find out if they will fit etc..

i hope to update again soon all comments welcome

Think I might fit some of these discs and pads to my car, need new back ones. Are the rear discs 232mm solid?

Only thing I would have to criticise is the cone air filter placed directly in front of the MAF.

This causes turbulent rather than laminar air flow through the MAF which leads to MAF reading issues.

I would try to get a piece of straight section between filter and MAF....

I finally got a paint match to my standard cupra grills so I could paint my per facelift top grills

Just need to get around to makeing the centre grill now when I get some honey cone the hopefully the front will look more complete.

While I had the paint out I decided my fog light grills had seen better days and required a new coat of paint due to the paint was peeling and stone chipped so I got to work reconnditing them

What they looked like before
