Update on the c2v3 it definitely isn't soot proof, is been just over 2 weeks since I applied it and the only way to get the soot off was with clay :-( how's the 1000p holding up?

That's a shame. Wasted effort :(
The 1000P is holding up very nicely. Soot just wipes off or comes off with a normal wash. It's funny because you can see during a wash where I missed with the 1000P (hard to see on a white car where you've applied!)

It's definitely a keeper. Once my sample is done i'l get a proper jar. 18 quid I believe.

Ontop of everything, it's very easy to apply and buff off, gives darker cars a deeper tone, adds a lot of shine, and beading is good (not great).
Going to do the whole car in it and hold off with the AG HD.

Right, thats tomorrow's purchase then, it's £19 plus p&p on top but I don't care how much it costs as long as it stops the soot sticking!!!!

The only place the c2v3 did work was the spolier and door seals obviously a lot less soot gets in those places but it gives amazing beadage, just a shame it didn't work.

The rest of my car has a few layers of hd wax on, must say I am very impressed with it, the dirt just jet washed off after a soaking with snow foam.

Cool. Let me know if you've got the same results
