It seems i checked every single pipe but that one.

I still rate the V3 though. Pulls very well indeed. I was surprised I was doing (mix these numbers up 315 on a private road) and was still holding 1.5 bar!

I have a heat shield now (for the relentless) which I thought I needed, but I don't now I think. If anyone wants it PM me.

So after removing the safety straps from car to get off of the lorry. My recovery driver has chipped paint off my driver side (sideskirt). I'm like for f**ks sake man.

He has offered to paint it. So now I need front and rear bumpers spraying AND wheel refurb then I'm kind of done?

Anyone recommend anything else or is it time now to just grow up a bit? Lol.

Always fancied some 'Bride' front recliners tbh.

Joys of owning a car Bret! There's always something to be done. However, you've always kept one of the tidiest cars on here, so I can imagine with the paint done, you wouldn't need to do anything else to it would you? May be that's a bit of a daft statement to make there I know... :)

After all the waiting, I hope you can enjoy some problem-free and enjoyable motoring :)

The paint will be touched up come November when insurance is due. No point paying for insurance if we never use it...so full respray and alloys done.

Then going up for sale. Tired of modding this car now. Never thought I would say that, but 8 years is long, and I want something better.

Why is everyone talking of either selling or breaking their Leons at the moment??

Dude I'm one of the old skool brigade too. Had the car since new. NEVER thought those words would ever come out my mouth, but alas. I LOVE the car, still makes me smile, but I'm spending money on it still that could be used elsewhere.

The ride is still too harsh, it needs all painting and wheels need doing. But the most important thing was...I just had engine rebuilt to considerable expense and it doesn't feel that much different.

I hardly hit the shows anymore due to the car needing beautifying, and I'm 34 next month. Bout time I spent my money elsewhere.

Every car is a money pit to an enthusiast.
I fully respect your decision. But I believe you will be wasting alot more money to get the subaru to the same stage as the Leon as it is now.
Not only that, with the 4wd system there is alot more to go wrong.
But good luck.

Lol who said anything about Subaru? After this car I will go back to normality a bit. I originally set out to forge the car to stage 2 with top suspension and to keep the car standard looking.

I think I achieved that. It just took me years to do it. Was ooooming and arrrrrring about doing the rebuild as I knew it was gonna be pricy, but I had all the parts laying around including the tubular manifold and I thought 'well it will kill me with regret if I don't finish the car properly'

Don't get me wrong, the car shifts now, but my priorities now aren't 'getting the paint just so' or 'washing the car to within an inch of its life'. I think I e washed the car once since last winter lol.

I think he meant to make the Subaru comment on Danny Lad's thread as he's going down that route.

Bret, you've been around a long time with the LCR so if you want a change just do it mate. I think a lot of us are just bored now...

Or you could just drive your car and enjoy what your done to it. I never wash my car don't get hung up on what it's not and enjoy what it is. All cars are the same just the more fun they are the more you have to put into them. Just like woman. You need to take it on track.
