Haven't spoke to him yet realy he has only just started and said he hasn't properly give it some yet so will post a new graph when he's done. Think by the time he's finished will be loads better.

It's not going great the car won't take any timing as knock sensors are being triggered. He will be trying again on Saturday

today too... day 2 on dyno

timing is what it is... does'nt want to run much.. but I think there's a lot of backpressure going on, despite the 0.86AR hotside which is making things laggy.

boost high early it rapes the timing back out..
build it with revs and it holds more top end..

Sits currently at 380bhp region on 24-26psi boost (wavering, due to weak actuator bracket allowing the actuator to bend and flex..)

Still, its getting there, may just take a lot of time and attention but its getting there. Once its done and the problems have been resolved, it will be well worth it. Even with 380bhp its a very capable car, despite being able to give more.
With the majik of bill, im sure this will be as you want it before you know.

Im still watching very closely to see the finished product

I hope so but ATM It's laggyer than a gt30 doesn't put out as much power and costs afair bit more. I'm sure bill will find out the problem tho.

no he cant..

had a look inside with bore scope whilst fixing the flimsy actuator brkt.. all looks normal inside. WG present and correct and closing fully. Turbine all there.. nothing untoward.

Its just laggy!

Its reluctance to accept timing adv is not helping things.... Only supports barely double digit timing, and very sensitive to heat.. WMI to me screams as being a requirement on this particular one..

An example of a recent FP green turbo we did for customer.. Originally, 22psi boost, no wmi, it was just over 400bhp. He came back with wmi (as I advised him) and with a little more boost, and importantly timing it would happily support with wmi) it was running 26-27psi boost and made just over 500bhp.. Its timing in contrast to yours is it could run 24deg adv where yours is over 10 deg less timing and heat sensitive.

VVT is not on yours but was on it, and we can use this to get increased spool, so I would look to get one and we can terminate the vvt and activate it as required.

Is this cat or decat? I've not looked?

This is on a smallport head isnt it??
Maybe this would also benefit from a large port, more timing, better flow.

Bill do you think that the anti surge housing could contribute to lag?
I've heard it mentioned a few times.

anti surge I have heard is to the detriment of some airflow low end yes

lag is hotside I think

largeport would to me seem to likely be a better match. As would a 0.6x hotside imho. largeports seem to allow more ign advance.

Finished... and hopefully when some wmi is added we can recover some timing back.

On the road its too quick for public use... roads are too short and too busy...
its rapid.

Still some pretty good results there, although not what was expected.
We all know projects are never finished, so i will imagine this is going to keep going. After all the work involved, id say its well worth going for wmi and maybe largeport?

You were right bill it's rapid had a lot of fun today thanks for everything. And you were right about flat shifting I left yours and before I got to shell along that road thought I'd try it. I clearly scared some women as she had a go at me in shell and took my number plate haha it's insanely loud. It just doesn't stop pulling and runs perfect now.
