This is a summery thread of various OEM parts from the Seat Leon Mk2 and their weight.
Great information for you whom want to change your cars power to weight ratio. Easy way of making your car go faster.

As individuals we all prioritize differently in life, some of us want performance and others comfort. So let's not make this to a thread about loosing body weight and personal arguments.

I will start of with some weights of various items and add as i remove parts or change. Hopefully others will contribute with more measures.

Orion Leon Cupra 18" alloy including 225/40/18 tire with 7mm left
21,4 Kg

Exide 12V Battery
19,2 Kg

Uprated Brakes and single mass flywheel are weight savers as is air con pump and air con core delete.

Back seats, spare wheel, jack, screen wash, fuel, rear window wiper motor, all the unneeded crap inside the car like De Icer, CD's etc. Mud flaps lighter clothes, driver losing weight, carbon bonnet and panels, sound deadening under the carpet, front fog lights, catalytic converter. Could probs think of more if I wasn't pissed :)

It's a good thread is this pitty it's for the Leon lol I was palning a stage 1 waight reduction on my mk4 Cupra.
And hears what I plan of doin but keeping it as oem and daily useable as possible
Ok
spere wheel toolkit and jack remove
Rear head rests remove
Inside grab handles swaped for blanking covers
Rear wiper and motor removed
Verious chassis bolts and engine bay bolts cut down due to longer than needed
Front and rear crash bar 35mm holes cut through out the bar ( still strong with holes)
And finally under bonnet frameing cut down and removed and cover refitted so still looks good ( lighter bonnet due to iTs one hevey lump)
Light waight battery

And possible aircon removal that should lose about 100kg well I'd like to think

Yes, remove that bolt and slide out the rear seats. That should be it if my memory is right.

Ok, thank you. Thats about back rest, what about that what is under butt? I try to force it to lift up, but it only came to 45degrees angle. Should I force it more to see the bolts which it is attached?

Just pull it harder and it will release, it's not fixed with ant bolts

Advans feels much much better than the Cupra alloys: 7.5kg vs 13-14kg
