How much did you pay for your LCR/LC and how long have you owned it?

sorry to crash the thread but are your "full service histories" one service a year or every 10k miles? Would you steer clear of one that has 18k between two of the services and 15k between two others? (the rest are less than 10k between services) car is on 72k miles, 2005, 4 owners. Last owner had it for 2 years and sounds like he looked after it. Thoughts guys? Cheers!

Cambelt / Waterpump been done? I took a punt on my car, only had the last 3 years worth of service history. But has had belt/pump done and only covered 67k since 02, no real problems so far.

Sounds like its done the long life services 20k between. If you did but I'd service it but drop the sump and replace the pickup pipe

Mine was from London but I only paid £3900 for an 04 LC with 17k on the clock back in December.

Seems like you pay a premium for the LCR of at least a grand.

Are you sure that car hasn't been to the clock doctor? 2000 miles a year give or take. Suppose it's possible, I had a v6 mondeo that had done about 3-3.5 k miles a year.

ah I didn't know there's a long life alternative. The last owner sounds like he looked after it, and had it for 2 years - was apparently very specific about the oil used etc, so maybe it's ok? Is there anything specific I should check when viewing the car if it has been on long-life? I'm seriously tempted to buy it, so any advice would be a huge help!

and yeah, Danny, last owner wasn't sure if cambelt/pump had been done so he got it done anyway - so it was done 2 years ago.
