they both on the same way around arnt they ?

In the pic, the right one shows the drivers side caliper, the left one shoes the passenger side, bearing in mind that you will be holding it on the other side of the car so it will be the other way around ?

i made the decals go with logo then brembo wrting from top to bottom on both sides ?

right i think the pennys just dropped. The decals are perfectly semetrical i.e both sides will have the logo followed by the writing from top to bottom, but how it should be is drivers side logo and writing top to bottom, but passenger side writng then logo from top to bottom, so they ready the same way depending on what side you look at them lol

ive got a spare decal, the fun bit will be too try and remove the old one without damaging the paint

well took the decals off and its taken the paint and primer off along with it right to the bear metal which makes me question how long they were gonna last anyway. Really not happy with this hammerite spray stuff taken too long to dry and dont like this wet on wet spray bullshit like it says to do on the can

**** it iam sending them to be done properly :censored:

The left calliper decal is upside down, so 180 degrees twisted...?

yer took me ages to figure that out,

essential you stick one on upside down so it reads the corretc way on both sides, i did them the same way.

dont matter now anyways cause the caliper paint finish is buggered. Thought by doing it myself it would speed things up and get them fitted and save money, but it failed. ringing godspeed tomorrow

Sorry mate, just thought you would of wanted it correct, it would of looked silly with the stickers like that.

Easiest way to do it is put the calipers side my side on their bellys and stick them on so yyou can read brembo correctly on both. (Brembo) (Brembo) like that.

my guess is mate that the primer you applyed was fine and when it drys it drys flat and its a base coat for the gloss.but if the paint still feels wet id say your gone a bit ott with the gloss paint.when you apply a coat on there the paint creates and paint film and so on the more layers you put on the longer it takes for the paint to dry,so apply 4 coats or so,thinley.
if the paint feels thick and rubberey kinda then its still on its drying stages.
in the winter as a decorator paint wont dry 100% over night and ur normally tell if its dry 100% like from the feel.if paint has come off you can just wet and dry it prime it (2/3 coats)then build up the gloss finish

Well i stopped sulking and maned the f**k up and sorted the calipers. sanded it back, but this time applied the Hammerite smooth brush on paint, and i actually think its better, its not so thin and has much better coverage and leaves just as smooth finish as that horrid sray stuff. wish id had that from the beginning now. think i put too much of the spray on between coats

Always recommened hammerite in the past but recently theyve been ****. The first tin i picked up from Halfords, a small 250ml, got home and opened the lid to find the paint was solid all the way through, went back to change it for another one (there last one) and that was the same.......like they hadnt been sealed properly and dried out, so they gave me a 750ml for free which was fine.

NOTE: decals are now on the right way round, thanks for picking this up, cause i wanted them perfect. cant fit them till the badger 5 hoses turn up

Can anyone tell me if the brake hoses fit to the nipple on the back or on the top ?

The one on the top is for bleeding I think...? Stop spending money! You make me want to lol. When I get back from MAB I'm going to definitely get some of these badboys, and do them in black with white decals ;). I've decided to out those 215/35/18's on the LCR alloy's, as I'll only be loosing 29mm around the whole wheel/tyre and they're fitted to 7.5j rims anyway and look fine.

nearly out of money to spend now lol I did think about doing the brembos black with red decals, but thought they would get lost against the black wheels and wanted them to stand out, plus i paid good money to have my rears in red so needed a match really.

well theres two nipples on the top and one on the back. strangle enough the nipples i have missing are at the front, surley someone didnt connect the hoses there before i got them ?

this pic shows them at the back, so guessing thats where they go. ive got a nipple there so maybe i can undo that and move it to the missing top ones ?

No they'll have used an old bleed nipple so **** doesn't get into the bleed thing maybe? I've always thought because there are like 2 chambers in the calliper, air can collect at the top of both, so when bleeding on the car you need to be able to release both lots of air.... My brembos had 2 each so I'm pretty sure. You got 4x pistons in each now remember not poverty 1's like me haha! I think red is the right choice for you, to match the rears and they do look good red, I just cba to paint my rears again!

That's better ;-)

The brake hose will fit into the back of the Caliper.

Fit with the Nipples at the top (air rises) and I would bleed the inner first then the outer then just check both again for good measure ( that's just me though)
