Sucks about the boot tray mate, the interior bits are looking good though! What have you done for the headlining? I just went for the LCR bits and saved the hassle of painting.

I was gutted when it got here, I know it's sad but I actually went and bought 6 different autoglym things to fill it! Getting a collection now though, 3for2 at b and q and halfrauds! I've really actually struggled, bought pleather, but it wouldn't mould without sagging, bought cotton fabric spray, wouldn't dry as I was a thick **** and its not cotton lol. Also got 4x 25ml fabric paints from dune but it'll cost £20 just doing that.... And about 6 hours to cover it. So, tomorrow I'm going to see a lady about some fabric, because I want some fake suede to match the seats but obviously in black!
FR alloys sold for £220, a welsh bloke came up today from Cardiff, he'd just bought a cupra 180, 2003, so it's a facelift with those horrible starfish alloys on it. Don't actually know why he had mine lol just look a bit better IMO. He was saying its mapped to 230 stage1 no mods, and he just gave me the keys and said take it round the block! Bearing in mind I'd never met him and his misses and a random child were in the back! So I did and I wasn't impressed, definitely prefer my smokey derv I honestly think it would have given it a good go! Anyway, another absolute bargain bought tonight,
few of you would have seen it on the bay.

I couldn't tell you, its definitely a genuine, and all the clips and screw holes are intact! I always look for stuff like this, brembos are a regular too, but this one was on eBay for 95 buy it now! Didn't even want to haggle! It's really good nick too, dropped it off today £100 for a spray job but I need grills, that's the only downside. Hasn't beet my £15 225 steering wheel though! He bloke said he was making a lot of money on it too :s apparently it was a cracked one that went through insurance, so he repaired it and primed it, so max £20. What a silly bloke, he would have got £250 for it if he'd done his research!
Did your fr fogs fit in your bumper?
bargain ! even after cost of painting and grills its gonna be cheaper then what i paid for mine and the paint on that is shite. unless you like the vented grills, nows a good oportunity to switch the honeycomb grills over to the lcr bumper

Well I've got an fr bumper on the car that has honeycomb grills do you think it will be as simple as just swapping them and re welding them in?

the fr one is a one piece grill and the LCR is seperate pieces, think you have to cut them out the fr one and glue them in as separates, only down side to that is you cant sell the bumper with the grill attached. a few people on here have done it, its on my list to do
Oh yeah that's annoying.... I got quoted £100 just under by tps for all the grills on the fr bumper, the bottom middle is £40, the badge one is £20 and the two outer bottom ones are £10 each, so the other two must be £20? Ish lol.
Another update!
they looked good with the mirror covers. liking the silver\black theme. you could go either way with your LCR wheels, keep them original or black, would both look equally as good.
I don't know how good black wheels look though, I've seen a few lcr's with black wheels, same colour as mine and now I have the bumper I think I'll end up doing that. But those tt Quattro sport alloys I had looked better in silver, because the concave was more visible....
Mine will end up like this, but without the black trim at the top of the middle, then ill get a bracket made off of a mate, or at work and get a 3/4 plate stuck on. Can't wait after yours John, I am I love with the way LCR Or lookalikes look lowered on the 18's! Hurry up Friday payday

I don't like that at all, ever since a bloke at work had a mk6 golf gtd with wheels like it, reminds me of the old halfords special wolfraces with that sort of paint job lol, no doubt ill not get just black but I'm not sure yet and won't be until summer any way. Can't wait until the bumper I prefer them so much! Will keep everyone updated
Interior is on its way back in, few creases but I'm tired of it now so i can't be bothered to sort it out yet. Looks ok though, any one know why my interior lights, central locking windows don't work lol?
The fuse probably. That's what caused mine to fail a couple of years back. 20amp fuse from what i remember... Your Seat book will tell you

Cheers, it perfect in any way but it just feels better, can't describe it....
She has caused a lot of 'heartache' lately. I don't like this phrase, because everyone says it as soon as something goes wrong, but I had badly lost the love! It's coming back, few niggles and I'm sure it'll be back after the LCR bumper is on!
Few little bits.... Fuel lines and the left over for coolant? Was the same size so just did it.
