Just got back from Santa Pod, what a b4stard place to get in and out of! 1 way in, 1 way out. THOUSANDS of cars etc.

Unless the weather is good I won't be taking it on any long journeys to places like Pod or national meets. It's just not worth it.

Haven't got a date yet, Will be getting Bill to fit them I think.

It's not really the roads getting to it, it's the one that goes through the middle of the fields that I was queuing on for about an hour and a half.

Yep Also been speaking to MV and got talking about how best to go about this but i have lack of funds for this.. Id ideally stick to the Seat panels for conversion, much neater result

I need to get in vagcat and see how much the genuine parts are. Easier than splitting an s3 but potentially more expensive

James, i listed all the parts up and got a price from a local dealer for the panels for the conversion and it came to just shy of 2 grand... hence the reason of the s3 donor

Just noticed... how come the cams don't have any sprockets on the ends ???? are they the bolt'y on ones ??

Yer they are the bolt on ones, billet camshafts. Will probably need a small tac weld to keep them in place for good and for peace of mind.

Seems expensive for all the panels, will see how much someone wants for all the s3 bits.

Yer, they're just tucked away in the box in seperate bags.

Inters

Decided to try and organise a SCN National event @ GTI Inters this year.

A few names down on the list already, hoping to get a decent turn out from the long standing members on here and hopefully make it a weekend to remember. I will be doing the full weekend and no doubt will have a bash at the strip as well.
