New Shopping List & To-do List

1. DS3000 Brake Pads
2. Boost Gauge Pod
3. Water Methanol Kit
4. R32 Steering Wheel

My new cams should be here end of the week so going to get the car booked back in with Bill to have the following bits done.

1. Fitting Cams
2. Remove TSR manifold, cut out old 31mm wastegate feed pipe. Weld in suitable size pipe & Ceramic Coat
3. Ceramic coat Tial & turbo hotside.
4. Fit Water methanol kit.
5. Adjust GBB Mapping

On a side note, my gears have been terribly notchy & crunchy when running cold at the moment, did have a problem with the gear linkage which I sorted. Running Gulf Competition (75w-90) gearbox oil at the moment. Wondering if I should swap this out for some OEM stuff. I normally have been skipping 2nd gear and going 1st to 3rd when cold.

Loving the way this car is being built... If you have rebuilt the gearbox then OEM gearbox oil should be good to go :) Keep me/us posted on the WMI kit you go for, need to look into this myself ;)

It's not been rebuilt since i've had it... AmD did a bit of work on it when they put the diff in but not had an actual rebuild as far as I am aware.

Going to look and see how much it would cost, did you have yours done?

James..... Have you had the 42 draft designs gear linkage bushes done????

I had mine done at Awesome along with my new heavy duty clutch and solid flywheel and my gearbox is notchy when cold too, doesnt like 1st to 2nd early morning when the car is cold...i think it's something to do with these possibly as it never did this before i had the 42 draft bushes fitted....just a thought

Keep up the top work

Yer I have got the DD bushes, I had these on the car before I had the BT setup and diff tho and it didn't do it then. A few other have said about the DD bushes and not had any problems either.

I think it's down to the 'thick' oil being used when it's cold as when it warms up it gets thinner and then gears are silky.
