Hi i love what you've done with the car with the Forge pipe will that improve your boost pressure, as you mentioned it is bigger

I didn't test it tobehonest but it will defo improve the flow of air I changed it due to my oem pipe split.

Thanks for the comment about my car some more updates will be soonish :)

had my boost pipe blow off so just fitted a forge pipe new seals and new clips to the bottom of the turbo out let the inside pipe diameter is quite alot bigger than the standard one.

Firstly what a lovely example of a cupra tdi you have.

Secondly did the new pipe make any difference? Seen these on Awesomegti as well as the hard pipe kit and was wondering what improvements these make.

I wouldn't really know if then forge pipe made a diffrance due to the old pipe was split and had been for quite some time so when it was fitted it did but that most Likly would be due to gaining my boost pressure back lol.
The hard pipe kit u talked about is a very good thing to buy removes all the stupid rubbish connectors that have a habit of leaking plus gives higher flow perfect for tuning and u won't need to keep fixin boost leaks

Thanks for the comment about my car am trying to get time to do some more work to it but just havnt had time to do owt but give me a month or so and am sure there will be some more inprovments made to my little Cupra tdi :)

Looking smart! Yellows a tough colour to maintain :p always gotta keep it clean!

I fancy doing what youve done with the 80mm silicone hose to the air filter. Just need to find out if its the same size on the 1.8t petrol engine!

Also your just down the road! (Sort of lol)

ok well its been a while since i have updated so hear it goes.
i throught id give my self some time to update this due to my car passing mot

ok well its started by my mate giving me some forge boost hoses he orderd for his pd140 leon. and he found out they where not for his car but by then it was too late to return them so they came my way.
i knew id find a use for them becaaue they have come with uprated alloy cuplas and there larger plus better pipes so id make then fit lol....

well i have only managed to find use for one of them so far so i cut it down to size and replaced my hose from egr valve to alloy pipe. looks better i think plus its bigger.
i know ill find a use for the others once i get my front bumper off..

photo_zpse42deb9a.jpg
[/IMG]

ok well after a few weeks of constant work and motor way driving i decided i really need to get some wheel spacers the wheels looked too lost in the arches so i got my self some 20mm hubcentric alloy spacers and bolts.

i wanted to try and do something a little diffrent to my cars insides but wanted it oem looking and smart so i had a little think and came up with lets do something with lighting due to i work night shift so i mainly drive in the dark.

i decided ambiant lighting was the way forward so got my self these LEDS
photo_zps09df38d8.jpg
[/IMG]

and decided i wanted to light up the pocket under the cd player and behind the glove box handle to get some light onto the passager side due to looked to dark over there.
next i had to decide where to wire them up so i guessed using the cd player feeds would be best bet so i got to work.

photo_zps29ca5d30.jpg
[/IMG]

once i wired them up i put them into place and bulit back up my car. they have turned out better than i throught the pic dont due them justice to be honest they look amazing when sat in the car

photo_zps44391d6c.jpg
[/IMG]

as i said earlyer i needed new rear disc brakes so i throught id fix the binding hand brake plus upgraded the rear discs. i orderd some brembo maxi discs and pads and some hand brake helper springs for the calipers plus treat it too a new pollen filter while i was spending :p

photo_zps7a28beb6.jpg
[/IMG]

once fitted

photo_zps7780c7f5.jpg
[/IMG]

and the springs now fitted makes the hand brake feel so much better such a good cheep easy up grade took like two mins for both sides.

photo_zps9705bb00.jpg
[/IMG]

now with it all built back up..

photo_zpsfb1399f7.jpg
[/IMG]

next on the cards i was thinking of doing something a little diffrent again i look in the rear wheels and the rear brakes look lost so i have an idea todo what the honda civic has done with the back plates on the new type Rs so am going to get some type r back plates cut mine down so there not viewable and weld the honda once to mine then mount.. just need to do some resurch and find out if they will fit etc..

i hope to update again soon all comments welcome

Hello!

Hi there, I've been following your thread, I keep getting emails saying there has been an update, and they are always very good :) I was just looking on your page tho, and I can't seem to see a way to send you a message. It says you are online but I looked everywhere and see no way to send you a message lol. Normally I'm good with computers but really just cannot see a way to send you a message! What am I doing wrong? Well, anyway, just wanted to say hello! Hope you are having a good day!

The only way to send a massage to me is by clicking on my name and going onto send a privet massage it will say am in line all the time due to I use my phone so it keeps me loged on even through am not if u get what I mean.

Also u might not be able to send privet massages till u have posted 15 posts or more.

Like the car, like the color, like the mods!

Think my next one will be something yellow again!

Not too many people install an open air cone filter because they are afraid of losing power due to the original filter being sheltered from heat and being connected to the intake in the bumper better. Not sure how much difference it really makes actually...

What's the Brembo part number for the discs and pads? Do you feel any difference when handbraking of braking overall?

The open cone is the best thing I have done love the sound it makes I love the flutter also plus it defo ain't lost any power due to it plus the intake temps have not changed at all but I did make the cold feed bigger than the standerd pd160 intake.

Thanks for the comments still alot of work to be done tobehonet ill try and find the part numbers for the discs. The hand brake feels alot better with the helper springs what I have fitted plus the discs have made no diffrance really but I ain't able to give a real test due to my front ones need replacing badly along with pads plus wants some new brake fluid changeing but once I have got around to that I can pass comment.
