There is plenty out there to choose from I would go to your audio shop and let your ears choose for you. What sounds good to you might not be what everyone else likes.
It is your choice at the end of the day
Yeah to be honest I'm struggling to find anywhere where I can actually listen to anything rather than it just being in glass cabinets!
Just go to halfords, they will have a range of stuff for you to listen too. I'd recommend staying a with well known makes unless you find some you really like, that you have heard.

Had aa quick listen in local car shop and couldnt really settle on a choice of speaker upgrade.
Still not sure on comp or coax. Has anyone got positive feedback on maintaining the stock tweeters and with what speakers?
Keep going round in circles with multiple threads on speakers : ) suppose this post doesnt relay help...

Im with you on this one, really confused with what to buy?!?!
Im coming to the conclusion that im just going to bite the bullet and get some mid range components all around and maybe get a sub at a later date to cover all frequencies. Has anyone bought some components with the crossovers and tweetes and just wired the standard tweeters into the aftermarket crossovers?? or is this even possible??![]()

Anyone got an opinion on FLI audio speakers? Looking at a set of 6.5", 210w 3-way's to replace the door speakers, along with a punchy 8" active sub in the boot.
I'm not looking for anything to take the wheels off the ground, just a little better quality and more punch.
Also, i've seen some people with silver speaker trim on the door. Does anyone know where I could get this?
Thanks
That looks great mate, ive had a word with my local audio shop and they was telling me the standards will be rubbish when using them with the crossovers etc. Im currently looking at a speaker and amp package for all the components. Hopefully get something sorted and fit the tweeters like you haveAny chance you could give me a little write up on how you did it, taking the pillar trims off etc...
Cheers
