Also if it states it from VOSA themself, I think I no who I believe.
Again ill state it's a very vague subject ATM. Some may pass, some may not, depending on the MOT testers discretion.

Just spoke to Dave at Portsmouth MOT. He said "as long as it works when its turned on that's all is needed." He also said the leveling issue should be done at my dealership when I get my service.

Agree with James here you don't need the levelers and washers for AFTERMARKET hids. You just need run the right bulbs aligned properly for example in my Leon I have H7R lights as they are reflector type headlights meaning they give correct beam pattern but projector type can use normal H7R lights. If I used H7 in my standard reflector headlights it would cause dazzle and id most likely get pulled over

Have you never seen a car fail an MOT for incorrect beam alignment?

I was only quoting what the gentleman said. And no, I have never seen a car fail its MOT, because I don't know. Its because of my lack of knowledge on the subject,that's why I'm asking mate. I'll just have to see next month when it goes in.
