Just a quick update, I am currently uploading a video for you guys to see about the sound... Not using the best video camera out there so sorry if it isn't excellent quality lol

This was done the following night after I had the downpipe and decat fitted so it may sound a little different once it has built up some carbon

Next will either be fitting the FMIC or getting the rest of the system(Cobra cat back)

Also treated myself to a nice Alpine head unit with built in bluetooth has parrot hands free and can stream from bluetooth devices so works well with iPhone's even shows the track information on the display and can skip back, forth and pause from the unit without touching the phone or iPod :)

Also thanks for all your comments!

Seeing as the weather wasn't to bad today I thought I'd get cracking at fitting the intercooler!

So... Bumper and headlights off and out the way!

Crash bar off

Cut a section out nicely for the intercooler to sit behind the crash bar

Made some little brackets using the part I cut out the crash bar

Brackets on and all lined up

Got it bolted up and then everything back on

Now just waiting for my pipe kit to come so I can get it modded to fit the DV line and N75 pipe... Or to just get the cold side relocation for the dump valve??

Anyway next I'm thinking of getting a leon cupra r bumper as there isn't much room by the fog lights and don't want to remove them or lose the covers so will have to play with some ideas!

Looking good. How's it driving with it fitted?
Waiting to fit the pipework mate, intercooler was sitting there in the box and had a free weekend so got round to fitting it lol just waiting for the pipework to get it all fitted then I can get the rest of the exhaust system :)

I haven't noticed much to be honest but then again I done the n249 before I done anything else, I think it may be a bit better with some mods but as I done mine before the mods I haven't really noticed, and no I haven't replaced my split r yet

I thought it was time for a little update anyway, for now the only thing I have done is change my brake pads as every time I touched the brake pedal the car squealed like a pig! Lol

And the old pads...

Intercooler still not connected up yet, waiting for the pipework hopefully hat turns up during the week ready for next weekend to which it will then be fitted!

Also I have another rocker cover which is to be painted or powdercoated, I'm undecided on which to do yet! Pics to follow :)

Had a go piping up my intercooler today and what a b*tch that was!!

Pics below....

Bumper and lights off

Car was then up on the ramps and I got to work, Had a little help too...

Got the easy part done, drivers side all piped up
52772644279570246752011.jpg

Next was working out how to route the passenger side and realised I didn't have a pipe with the take offs for the DV and N75! So I cut the original silicone one down and cut the charge pipe too
32602442795802467510106.jpg

Then joined a 2" to 2.5" silicone joiner on the end to my 2.5" pipework
56456944279542580088121.jpg

Then I had to faff around a bit to finish off the inlet side of the cooler

53730844279565246752521.jpg

Think I may get a 90deg bend for the inlet side so I can route it a bit easier this side at some point

Then started putting everything back together and realised the bumper wouldn't fit so I stared some modding and by modding I mean cutting! Unfortunately had to lose my fogs :( But due to the fact they have corroded and have never worked since I had the car I'm not overly fussed lol so heres the final result

I think I may get a cold air feed going from the passenger side fog hole just not sure what to do about the drivers side one yet

Opinions welcome guys! :)
