Not put a thread up on here in a while, but since i sold my old Ibiza Cupra i've had a change and had a Integra Type R DC2, Volvo S60 T5, Accord Type R, Mini Cooper S & Civic Type R but the itch came back for something turbo again...so after selling my Civic a few weeks ago i picked this up last weekend :D
It needs some tidying up on the bodywork and a bit of tlc as its been stood for a while (was a summer/weekend car) so getting it back up and running properly. Plans to start with are to get rid of the massive spoiler, tidy the bodywork up, underseal it properly, refurb the wheels and get some better tyres and fix all the little niggles with it then i can start to enjoy it properly!
Had the car into Eight Speed this week and got Stevie to change all the oils and give the car a check over.

The car has a few mods:
Fully forged engine with Wiseco pistons, K1 rods, Ferra valve kit & Kelford cams
Walbro fuel pump
Blitz front mounted intercooler
Full HKS hardpipe kit
Samco sports hose kit
Blitz SBC boost controller
HKS F-CON V pro gold ECU version 3.2
HKS exhaust
3" downpipe
3" custom centre section
Mines suction kit
HKS SSQV sequential blow off valve
Cusco 3 point front strut brace
Exedy twin plate clutch
AP Racing 6 pot front brake calipers
Grooved front discs
AP Racing rear brake calipers
Cusco coilvers
Advan RC wheels
GReddy turbo timer
GReddy 60mm 2 bar boost gauge
GReddy 60mm oil pressure gauge
GReddy 60mm oil temperature gauge
GReddy 60mm water temp gauge
Adjustable fan controller
Complete Evo 6 interior
Ralliart 300KM speedo clocks
Alpine CD player with iPod connection
HIDs
Ganador mirrors
Varis bodykit
Clifford Concept G5 alarm

Some pics of when i picked the car up

Plans sound good, that spoiler is insane

My uncle had one a few years back, I loved it. Serious performance for little money. Enjoy!

Yea spoiler will be removed soon enough. And for the money serious performance :)

I believe its a evo 8 Mr turbo but not checked yet.

No plans for any more power yet its running 1.5 bar boost and about 380 bhp as it is :)

It has Cusco coilovers at the min.

Got the standard bumper on and wheels this weekend. Have give the bumper a quick buff over but it still needs a bit more work, but it's on and not looking bad, will get it sorted out soon. Wheels are on and look much better i think, also got some decent tyres on there now, just in the process of getting some centres sorted for them now

Also changed the side repeaters to a set of clear and added some new Evolution IV stickers to the side as my passenger side didn't have one but the drivers did!

Next up is to sort some more niggles out, finish the bumper and sort the B pillars out - get rid of the white. Once the weather picks up will give the car a full buff and get a good coat of wax on there

This was pretty much how i last saw the Evo, after these photo's was rolled outside and the suspension and wheels stripped off then went to be scrapped :(

Spark plug snapped in the 4th cylinder and wiped pretty much everything out :(

It's been split for parts which is going pretty well to be honest, made what i paid for the car back in under 3 weeks. Have a few sales lined up which will cover the majority of what i spent on the car too so onwards and upwards. Deposit paid on the next car. Hopefully pick it up Tuesday :D
