Got a few bits done on the car today. Not as much as I would have liked but hey ho!

Got the mains cable for my battery relocation laid. Managed to find a smallish grommet just alongside the cabin filter which I have used for the mains cable and then down through the plastic trunking to where the battery was located, so no drilling.
Created all my new earth cables and got everything done wiring wise ready to get the battery into the correct place.
I've got a battery box which I hade made and have put it into the place that I want. Undecided about if I want to be drilling holes into the floor or if I should just tack weld it to the floor. Leaning towards the tack welding at the moment.

Didn't get time to get round to fitting the rARB yet but perhaps next week this should get done. I was going to get the new head unit fitted but my eBay purchases for the adaptor facia haven't turned up yet!

Hopefully my wheels should be here next week, looking forward to getting them fitted. Have taken a deposit for the LCR alloys and have had a few enquiries for the tyres as well.

Going to order a silicone elbow to bring my air filter towards the front of the car and get it into a prime space as behind the battery it wasn't getting the best air flow.

All in all a good day. Back on it next week.

Got a few more hours on the car today. Managed to get the final touches of the battery reloco into place. Went and bought some of the bolts that Tim suggested that cut as you screw them in. Seem to have done the job well.

Last final bits I am waiting for are a couple of 50mm2 cable crimps so that I can get the original battery earth secured to the chassis leg where the battery box was sitting and the new earth to a new earthing point.

With the battery now in the boot I had a quick look about where i woyuld like the filter to sit and it seems that with a half decent 45' angle 4" silicone pipe I can get it a lot further forward.

Got the new headunit in as well, just need to run the cable for the microphone and fit the new facia surround when it finally turns up.

Next on th list is to get the rARB fitted and my new alloys when they turn up this week.
