Just an extra, on phoning around the part numbers they told me were:

V7H0 615 295 A

V7H0 615 296

I originally asked for V7H0 615 295, but they told me this was off a Transport and was around £15! The others come in at £2.09+VAT, so sounds about right.

Thanks for the part numbers I have now ordered mine, should collect tomorrow. :)

Just picked mine up today, won't be fitting them in this weather though. Once again thanks for a great tip.

Just like Pew said, Chino quoted the parts I got but just to confirm

V7H0 615 295 A and V7H0 615 296 both at £2.09.

Funnily enough I read this thread and then we had a load of snow. I released the handbrake and it felt really loose, obviously wasn't full releasing, and my economy has plummeted. This is on two new calipers that are only a few months old too. It seems to have cured itself for now, but I think these release springs will have to be ordered!

whats the difference between those 2 part numbers. Are they handed?

In a word YES - one is the mirror image of the other, now remember to have a look at any picture to make sure you fit them on the correct side.
