bulb revamp

I just taken order of different led bulbs for inside an out for my Leon including led foglights. I have the btcc kit on my Leon an was wondering for changing the foglight bulb do I need to remove the bumper?

No, the front fog bulbs come out from the rear of the fog lamp.

But to get to it you either need really puny arms or a hack saw, which fogs your using as none are true canbus that I've found

Was going to ask about LED fogs. Is there a ballast that is available to make them canbus friendly? Also can you get LED full beams..?

sorry my mistake ive got hid foglights. i tried previous to find some led bulbs but had the same problem as you guys not bein able to find canbus free. you could try using one of those canbus resistors? also googling h3 led canbus theres a vauxhall forum saying that crazyleds.co.uk sell them but going on the website i cant find them, perhaps it might be worth emailing them to see weather they did actually sell them

hids-direct sells can-bus friendly LEDs for almost everything in the car, including the fog lights. If for some reason the built-in resistor fails, you can buy one but it will require some rewiring in order for it to work properly. That doesn't happen often, though, except with registration plate lights which seemingly have a lot of can-bus problems on the facelift Leons.

Tarek - if you get the bulb holder and resistor kit off eBay you can have number plate LEDs without Bulb Out issues.

I have never tried installing number plate lights, my comment was based on posts by numerous people here who tried and the LEDs gave errors.
