Sounds good, 280bhp will keep you happy till the turbo!! will it?? Ahhh i got ya, always handy to keep some legal/ish plates in the boot to shut them up. Helped me a few times :D

I have carbon plates and normal plates in the boot lol :) 280 ish bhp will be fine for me its more to get rid of the nasty on off throttle they have I'm mainly doing more carbon and weeks next year

Throttle that bad then?? can't beat a bit of carbon imo. I wanted to get some parts on the LCR carbon dipped rather than the crap wrap. Have you used anyone for that??

Been reading through your thread it's looking really smart, liking the carbon theme, it's one of my favourite r32's as you can see the hard work going into it. Well done mate

Suppose it depends what your after from your car to me some thing that would spool at 5k plus would be a total waste and ruin the drive ability a stroked block with a Gt28rs that spools near on as fast as a ko4 with more power would be alot better to drive on the roads and track. Gt35s on a 3.2 spool really quick so not bothered about it

I think if you are carful and think about where you want the drivability to be when building a BT motor you can get whatever you want.

My car can hit full boost before 4K if I want it too but it's currently set to be progressive so that it doesn't just light up the front tyres.

Like what you've done to the car, is the plan to carbon as much of it as you can???

Not a fan. I liked the smoothed look personally.

+1

I know you don't want a supercharger but how much are they and what kind of power would you get? Personally I'd go supercharger as I think it would suit that big lump more. What's your vision for you R? Show car?

7000-8000k plus fitting would rather a turbo kit tbh , plans are to drive the car , track the car , go to car shows I'm not one to cry over a paint chip people won't like the whole car all be it the side markers loads of carbon , wheels , and all the other bits I plan to do but I'm doing it to my taste and no ones else's if people like it then good if not then it doesn't bother me I've never been one to follow the norm and do the same as others

You've got attention to detail, from what I've seen you always do a good job of cars ... Look at the leon, that was class. Can see this turning out the same!

That's a lot of money! I post comments and photos in my RR to get peoples honest opinions as I'm sure you do. The problem for me is I think VW nailed the styling of the R32 out of the box. In fact it's one of my favourite road cars and a icononic car on top of that. Like you said it's your car to do what you want to it. I for one will be looking forward to seeing what else you've got planned. Between this car and your LCR you given me a few ideas for bits I want to do to my car so don't stop!Glad you'll be using you car propally as well.

I'm not up with tuning these cars. Could you gas flow the head, fit cams and then use the same cams with a turbo? With head cams and re map you'd be good for around 300 BHP.

I've seen people that have the head gas flowed cams manifolds with everything else done and your see about 290-300 depending on the rollers but its alot of money cams are 700-800 plus fitting , gas flowing a head not sure but can see it being expensive , the cams will help with a turbo how much I'm not sure

The side markers come standard on the US R32 but they don't come with headlight washers its just some thing I liked the look of , Rotas will come eventually lol just recovering over Xmas etc :)
