What a read this has been 15pages & enjoyed every part of it...
Where would i get them illuminated centre Vents as i know there from a Audi S3 ?
Any hints ???

Ive had the same Car from Brand New in the same Colour its nearly 8yr old now & still love the Car v much. That EGR Delete mod looks of interest to me.
Mite just have alook in mine & see what mess its in.

Think mine may suffer with this at some point, had a service at 13000, 20000, 29000 then missed one at 40000 and had the next at 50000, then 56000, 60000, and 63000. and I did one at about 70000.
75000 now :( all SEAT though.

mine was on about 150k when the cam went. its notmally due to incorrect grade of oil used at some point in its life, so would be surprised if thats the case with yours seeing as your only on 75k and full seat dealer service history

Really love this leon!
cheers. The Konig seats are the comfiest seat ive ever sat in aswell. expensive but well worth it imo.

Hopefully it'll be ok! I won't get rid if it breaks, I like it way too much haha! Your glowshift boost gauge, did you get it from eBay? And did you have to pay import tax to hmrc or whatever it is? Cheers.

Ok got a new genuine seat pancake pipe and hose setup from Dave @ Sere cause ive had nothing but hassle from the uprated SFS one and now the hose from the turbo to pancake pipe has been rubbing on the driveshaft and eat its way through the pipe and before that endless amounts of pipes blowing off where the hose clips just arnt strong enough, it was time to go back to standard. Not cheap at £270 but couldnt be dealing with the hassle any more

I really wish I had seen your thread before forking out on SFS Turbo Out, Pancake and intercooler lower pipe.

FFS it's sods law! How's your standard piping coping so far?

I only had my SFS hoses fitted a week ago and I'm already having leaks, tighten them up this weekend as the garage didn't seem to tighten them enough but just went for a quick drive and seems I'm losing boost again.

Awesome thread btw.

Cheers,

Dominic

Standard piping been fine. With my SFS setup i had rubbing on the o/s driveshaft which eat its way through the silicone hose but before that hoses just kept popping off. Really was the biggest waste of £250 ive spent on this car so far.

Whats happening with your brembo's? Have you chosen between the porsche ones or LCR ones yet? I've just been offered some brembo's for a reasonable price if they are in good condition, (his car looks really clean in rr though) any chance you could pm me with how much you paid for yours, and where you got them refurbed? I will need them doing I think as I've just painted my upgraded rears black.... numty lol Chuuurs

Hi, I was interested in your iPad mount. Do you have any pictures of how you mounted it please.

Just Finished reading the middle of the thread and seen how you have done it.
Nice motor by the way, looks like a lot of time and effort has one in to it.m

Sorry for the slow response, haven't check my thread until now. I settle for the LCR brembos and sold off the Porsche ones. Haven't had them refurbed or fitted yet. Piston and seals look ok on mine just the paints old. I think as a precaution ill get them fully refurbed anyway. I'll contact Godspeed for a price. I'll pm you what I paid for them although it might be irrelevant to you now.

Got my leon liquid gauge from racediagnostics and installed it today in the drivers air vent and tested it. Very impressed with it and all its features. Even used the vag fault finding to tell me what the orange light on my dash was. Turns out glow plugs 1,3,4 need replacing although i reset it and the lights gone out for now anyway.

Seeing as mine is a diesel some features such as lambada, exhaust temp, engine misfire, timing correction dont work, but i do get the following:

Engine crankshaft BHP
Engine Crankshaft Torque
Turbo Boost Pressure
Turbo Command Pressure
Mass Air Flow
Air Intake Temp
Coolant Temp
N75 Position
Dyno Plot
Oil Temp
multi display
0-60 & 0-100 runs
speed & RPM digital display
VAG rest and fault finding codes.
lots of different settings :p

That is a nice program does it works zo good as it looks?
