Its come a very long way from the first page where i also commented just as you had put it up.
What power is this animal putting out?

Yes almost hard to believe it is the same car even for me.
But im quite happy of the outcome.

Question I would like to ask is: Do Audi S3 2008 (265 PS) is good donor for conversion to AWD of my 2007 Seat Leon Cupra 2.0 Tfsi (240 PS)??
What problems I would come across?

My Seat have Forge Twintake, Forge DV. No other upgrades.

Yes i used an Audi S3 8P 2008 to take parts from.
Well not so much problems if you can Cut and weld metall.
Biggest problem for me was the coding and connecting of Haldex and Second fuellevelsensor.

But after several hours reading ELSA-WIN i found the correct connections.
I have also put out the Wiring to connect Haldex, Second fuellevelsensor and also the TOG sensor here in the thread for thoose who want to do the same conversion.
Saves a couple of hours atleast

it is Haldex Gen2 from a Audi S3 8P 2008
Seen the wiring? i wrote it earlier in the thread if/when youll need it also second fuellevelsensor if you cant find it let meknow i can send it to you.

My own Cupra - still Stage 1 by Overload - but it is also amazing! 0,95Bar on 6 900 Rpm

Well

now it is time for some updates..

Emptying of AC at my friends work.

Then we went to another garage. To do the rest..

When we got some time over i thought i might as well reinforce or atleast make the sideskirts a little more rigid. (right word?)

So started to clean with much Brakeclean in side betveen the car and Sideskirts.

After much cleaning so it was clean started to put something that i dont know the english word for but probably you will know by seeing the pics

They wrote to shake it hard for a couple of minutes so i did..

Should be ok. Just to cut away the rest after it has expanded and hardened.

Will cut it away next time we will take it back up on the lift.

Something missing?

So now engines is out.

Will now next week exactly what we will do.

We talked about overbore, Cams, lower CR headwork and so on.
Lets see what happens

Also have some plans for interior but have to see if the economy will Allow it..

Are these something for the Seat? hmm im little confused. I think they look ok.
But Bride in a Euro car? thought they was mostly for Jap cars..

The cloath on them can be mixed. if ill go ill opt for the Carbon.

if im right the 2 piece on the pics weighs in around 15kgs Dont know what the original chair weighs tough? But the weight isnt all want it to look good and feel good


My first choice would be a Set or 2 of Recaro Sportster CS But so damn expensive..

But in the end it Might end upp that resew the whole interior instead..
If the time allows it

Is the widebody kit still available from JE Design? cose i ahve been browsing on their online shop for ages and cannot seem to find it. to be honest all i want is the arches, already got sideskirts + front bumper + rear roof spoiler. Just getting them part by part per month hehehe.

BTW stunning leon !!! a very beautiful example on the road, and on the track

ohh btw its the same kit with the cupra for the tdi fr 08 model right?

I think you have to to buy from a authorised resseler if outside germany i could help you but i think the shipping cost would be very very high im afraid

well last update we took out the engine.
So we could lower CR so we could get out more power

Engine was out on Sunday and left to my friend who will help me put it togheter with new parts and so.

On wednesday they called from a big international Company that they have found my car on internet and wanted to use it in a Commercial. And they wanted to rent it on wednesday the week after... i told them i dont have any engine in it.. but mentioned i have my spare engine that we could put in.. i think it should be complete and we should be able to pussle it togheter before that..

Long story short heres some pics...

So got to go and wake her upp from here beaty sleep.

And also found out it wasnt so complete as i remembered..

Will this really end upp with a working engine..
Got all parts i have had laying around little everywhere

Also found some cams

So far so good..

Just 3hours before the filming will begin.. I hope it will start

on the roads again cant post photos from the shoot but it went well and got the car back after 13hours of filming

So now time for something else..

Got a souvinir they forgott when they filmed the commercial hanging there in front of window xD

Meanwhile i have been ordering some parts for engine build again..

Mahle 9:5.1 INA Spec oversize Pistons with bigger valvereliefs etc.
Calico coated Crank and Rod bearings
INA 1,8t Oil pump kit to delete balanceshafts and be more reliable
INA Baffled oil sump
INA 1,8T oil housing plate and housing.
This is on the way to me now.

Soon I will order Cat Cams Stage 3 Cams and INA Oil cooler kit

I really enjoy your updates, so please keep them coming. It's the place where our dreams are your reality! The car seems fast enough, so with further upgrades to the engine, will you be expecting to see greater gains, or will it be to extract the last few bhp and to further improve realiability?

Hopefully the interior has been stripped for a rollcage, and that some interior pieces will be going back in? New front seats?
