Joined the club and bought a 08 plate Leon FR tdi in white with standard 18's Bluetooth & voice control.

I’ve been looking around the site for a while and got some great ideas of a few mods I'd like to do to the car. This is where you guys come in; I’ve never really modified a car and need a helping hand and pointing in the right direction.

Looking at refurbing the alloys gloss black - @Damon for the inspiration, How easy is it to get the seat badge red on the centre cap I’ve seen allot of wheels all black without the red centre caps but I much prefer the red Seat logo!

I’m also going to wrap the front bumper for the Cupra look along with the back bumper both gloss black and the wing mirrors too. These will all be done within the next week or so.

Future plans will include dropping the car, installing a new head unit with nav, TV and wireless Bluetooth streaming for music if this is possible. Any recommendations??

Also one problem I do have any members have an iphone 5 and how do you connect it to the aux cable where did you buy the cable from cant seem to find one for the new lighting adapter anywhere??

Thanks for reading apologies in advance for war and peace appreciate any advice guys!!

PS Im from the north east it we have any other northerners on here!

Plenty of pics will follow tomorrow when I pick the car up.

Dpf off, front LCR splitter, lowering springs, and a RNS510 or cheap eBay Chinese comparison. And looking at those wheels, you will need to spray centre caps separately as they are plastic, or you can just take em off while they get done and leave them silver.

How much does it cost to get the DPF off?

White cars with black alloys used to look the bomb, now they are just so common its more "oh, another one like that".

Maybe try gungrey or something, something different.

Yea i know its been about a while I just love the look had a MK5 golf with the black wheels and loved it! Grey just dosent look as good

It is true that most white cars have black alloys but what ya gonna do, not much else goes so well. And dpf will/should cost about £700, be wary of cheaper alternatives. Also check when you pick it up to see if the injectors have been changed free by seat, make sure this is the first you do

or triple R yeah, costs more but fits better. And dpf off will get you the most out of the standard hardware but if you ain't too bothered about too much power a decent remap will cost 400/500

Is the other option of a mk1 LCR? I used to own a 225 LCR loved it but put it in a field lol ...woops!
