Spot on mate. I kind of preferred the lowered look but this is the perfect set up for me now. Still looks great and totally usable now. I will measure up the height and let you know if you want to replicate it

Major work done to the LCR today. Took the car to Taber in Bexleyheath who knows the VAG 1.8t engines well and very impressed with his work even though I have only used him a couple of times. Will use him more often as he is very honest and gets straight to the point...................not to mention extremely reasonable with his pricing.

The major issue sorted was the issue I had with the steering and the wheels being boss-eyed. Was actually a simple fix thankfully. Basically somehow the bolts from the ball joints to the wishbones had came extremely loose and caused all the issues. The clutch got checked over whislt there and got the thumbs up with it looking very healthy. New parts fitted were the new radiator, cam chain gasket and rear calliper springs.

Seems I have a separate issue as my steering angle keeps coming on so that is next for me to fix. I hit the brakes aggreesively and can hear a loud clunk. When I accellerate I hear the clunk again. Can be a whole string of things so will need to set some time to check the car out.

In the meantime, place your bets people on how soon the next broken LCR status will come from me lol

I give it a week, tops :)

Glad it's running better now though. We all seem to be getting things cropping up with these cars lately. Must be their age!

Bit of a be careful update this one.

Purchased a set of aero wiper arms and blades on eBay at the beginning of the month but never received anything. Been messaging the seller but also opened a case against him in the meantime as I felt like I was getting messed about. I find out this morning he is no longer a register eBay user. Got a full refund now from eBay thankfully. World is full of retards. Guess times hit him and he tried to scam a few people but FAILED!!

The info I have on him are:

eBay name: madaboutdubs
Name: Lee Bailey
Locations: states he lived in Chelmsford Essex but has moved to Newquay Cornwall

Sells a lot of Golf parts, mostly R32 parts so be careful people.

Now on the hunt for another set of aero wipers!!

Gutted for you mate, those could have been the other set I was looking at :-s

Get Darren on case he will find more.lol

I'm sure Darren is already on the case. He has been slacking lately, not receiving my usual daily eBay suggestions from him lately lol

How crazy is this..............the aero wipers have just arrived. Looks like he was telling the truth and sent out the item when he said as it states on the package it should have been delivered on the 5th. Well done Royal Mail for another useless service. Just sent the seller a message to send him his money as it is only fair and I am a firm believer in what goes around, comes around

They are in good condition but still going to clean them and spray them before fitting.

Separately I also purchased some oil for the car as Opie Oils are doing yet another sale so thought I would stock up. Is 15 litres enough? :p

haha was wondering how many would spot the boxes in the background. I took the pics at work, the wheels are 18x10 so not for me unfortunately. They will be going on my bosses drift/track focussed S15 for our xmas party which is a day learning to how to drift at Brands Hatch. Come January time I will be on the hunt for my own set of wheels though ;)

Ah thought there was going to be a sneaky wheel purchase in there too lol!!

Ride height not all that bad to be fair....need to do the same as the rears with 25mm spacers do rub!!

Look forward to the new year with possible new wheels :)

Hopefully new wheels soon. It is a must!!

In other news, more purchases made today thanks to the Black Friday discounts by AwesomeGTI. Will put a pic up when it gets here. It is for the engine bay and also thinking about a few more mods in there :)

In other news I just got a awesome deal on this years car insurance renewal. Loving my new area. Last years insurance quote at my previous address on a standard Leon Cupra R was nearly £800, this year with all modifications declared it is £200 cheaper :)
