Now that I really like.

Wish I had the option of buying one of these instead of the Leon really.

I would have lost out on a lot of money if I did tho.

What spec is it? The black on white looks great.

Its a special edition vRS diesel (500 made) called a Blackline.

Comes with £1900 extras free. Full leather, dab/sat nav HU rear park sensors and black painted wheels. I also paid more for the DSG and also got the dealer to paint the mirrors and chrome grill black. Only done 40 miles in it but am quite impressed with the ride.
Will miss the boc a lot tho

I know some really trick mods to sort out the chassis on the Octavia. Mine was an absolute weapon on track. So much grip.

handled way better than my fabia

Looks great mate! Its a shame the plate isn't SL62YYY lol

Don't know what your view is on the chrome headlights, one of my mates has a 62 plate non-blackline Octy VRS and he has used light tinting film on his, looks a lot better IMO and would look even better on yours with the black grille, mirrors and alloys, here's are some pics;

Yeah cheers for that. BTW your mates in red is really nice. Not a colour you see in the vrs much.
Looks like a familiar swap

Had mine 11.5 mons, and wish I'd done it 12 months earlier when I bought the Ibiza
m0rk...The skoda is amazing, the drive and quality of the inside is really good. I thought i'd miss the boc a lot but not thought about it once.
Glad i went for the skoda, i was prejudice about the brand but it was totally unjustified.
I bought the Blackline as it was a no brainer but would have preferred the petrol.

I did the opposite. ive come from on Mk2 Octavia vRS to a Mk2 Fabia vRS, and im thinking of buying another Octavia again.

I'll go diesel this time though and it will be DSG, and no mods this time... I wasnt a huge fan of the diesel tbh, but since i have the Fabia as a trackday car it doesnt matter anymore

Sly, I'm pretty sure i have just put a deposit on your boc. Could you drop me a note. Wouldn't mind a chat if that's ok.

Cheers mate, it'll look even better when he has had the front grille painted up gloss black now the wheels have been done.

He actually started out with a Fabia VRS and had many many problems and in the end managed to get Skoda UK to swap it for a brand new Octy, so he did really well out of it in the end

I wonder when the Mk3 will be out seen as how the new Leon/A3/Golf/Octy/Eos/etc. platform is already on sale

My case with Seat UK is escalated quite high and i could have probably done something similar eventually, but couldnt be bothered and didn't really fancy a Leon.

My boc's oil consumption seemed to have settled down when i traded it in so thats positive for the next owner. Still as 6 months seat warranty left for them also. Also the ignition barrel was changed and is now 100% better.

Think you was better off not taking the leon. I really don't like mine the more I think about it. It lacks the sparkle and feels so boring. I also massively miss the DSG.
