Dont want to sound like I'm taking the pi$$ mate but have you made sure that your turning it the right way? Watched someone the other day try to fit the OEM one for about 10 minutes before they realised it was threaded the opposite way to normal things!

Like I said mate, not wanting to sound sarcastic at all.:)

Not a bad question really because looking at the thread pattern you need to turn it anti clockwise to tighten it instead of losen lol

Cheers for the replies chaps ;)

It's the tow strap hole that's too small to fit into my tow eye, the circumference of the tow eye is just too thick??

Don't mind how I fit it, don't plan on towing it anywhere lol!!

The strap is in place of the eye is it not?

Taken from another thread.

If you want it for show its easy theres a small m6 threaded hole under the towin eye hole just use an extended socket and an m6 bolt

We get asked the same question as we sell the Luke versions. The reason they don't fit on the towing eye threads is that the actual 'buckle' part is actually a seat belt harness end.

The suppliers actually recommend that they are bolted to the front bumper support (easier said than done on non track day cars!) rather than 'attaching them to the tow eye hook.

You might find if you drill the hole bigger you won't actually be able to use it to be pulled out of a gravel trap on a track day as there won't be enough metal left and might bend or snap.

If its just for show the drill it out !

We sell loads of them, especially in pairs but who or what they get fitted to I don't know !!!

On a few of the tracks now you must have either towing eye hooks screwed in and/or have MSA motorsport approved tow straps
