Rear window de-mister

Back window de-mister not working, any ideas guys

Fuse? Fairly sure it's on it's own fuse, check the manual to find out which one.

So wiring doesn't normally cause problems?

Possible but I've never heard of it, these cars aren't normally prone to bad wiring. Check the fuses first, it's the simplest thing and the most likely.

Good time to swap the switch for the timered one, rather than having to switch it off your self, iirc it stays on for 15 mins.

Didn't realise you got get timed switches. You haven't got a part number by any chance have you?

Yep i will dig it out..... Its 1M2 941 503 iirc its about £25

Fuse and switch are fine

Not yet are they At the sides or top/bottom?

Connectors both on and power going to it

The only thing i can think is that element its self has been damaged??

Have you checked the actual tracks on the window? Unlikely for them all to be broken but just maybe if something scraped against the inside of the window when you were loading it into the boot...
