hi all. ive been browsing for hours trying to find a picture of a leon with a btcc rear bumper and the cupra R style dual exhaust fitted with the cupra R rear diffuser if possible as i know there isnt a straight fit for this to go onto the btcc bumper. it would be great if someone would post a picture of the rear btcc bumper with the cupra r dual exhaust and if possible .........with the rear cupra r diffuser too

i have read a few times now that there isnt a manufacturer fit for the cupra r rear diffuser to go onto a btcc one but can it be done in someway by a little bit of skill and modifying?

Currently in waiting on a new diffuser to do this....the first fell off on the first test run while test fitting and had an encounter with a tractor :(

 blimey..........if only you'd taken some pictures. that is just really bad luck. sorry to hear that pal...i feel your pain. something similar happened to me...........but thats another long story!

so have you got the cupra r dual style exhaust on at the moment with a btcc bumper?

It's unfortunate but I'm not too fussed. I got a cheap diffuser off gumtree and I'm glad we used that to do all the lining up and test fitting as it got pretty messed up. The new one will go on now perfectly and be in perfect condition :)

I have plenty of pictures of us working away on the new exhaust we built, as I did this mostly myself. It's only a diesel so you don't need any fancy skills to make a new back section for them.
Then a few pictures of it getting test fitted etc. at my friends auto body repair shop in saintfield. I think I've a picture of it all loosely (very loosely as I discovered :( )test fitted before painting and just before I decided to go for a run in it.

Currently I've a hacked up stylance bumper in yellow, with some custom body work for the new exhaust idone to it, skilfully done in half an hour with a dremel lol

My btcc bumper is getting parking sensors and new reflectors currently. Then we will be sanding , respraying and blowing in the rear bumper properly so there isn't that awful difference in colour a lot of btcc cars (including my own) have where the bumper means the rear wing .

Then once the diffuser arrives in (next week fingers crossed) it will be sprayed gloss black and bonded on, properly this time!!

As you can tell by the big description I'm very very excited :D

Not at all, lucky the diffuser does a great job of hiding the original exhaust cut outs in the btcc bumper, so the bulk of the work is choosing where to have it sitting, how far down or how high up. And then in my case building an exhaust back end and getting it to hang perfectly.

That was the plan, first btcc kit with the diffuser I think, if I do say so myself lol

I think the K1 exhaust would look good in the middle of the diffuser instead of the dual R32 style exhaust, and would be something a bit different again

I'll get pictures up when I'm home home
