I looked at the handbrake covers ages ago but they didn't look like they fitted as well as yours.
Is yours FL only? I'm guessing not as most of the parts are the same?
I'm seriously thinking of trying to fit a FL tailgate over the winter and those LEDs would look awesome!

They are a lot of car for the money these days! Seriously considering it!
It fits a dream, it just slips on and it wont come off unless you really try. I would imagine they are the same for pre and post FL . It will be quite an expensive mistake though if it doesn't fit
Yeah the LEDs are class bud, they transform the rear end and are really bright, even in the daytime I leave them on.

Anyway I was off work today so I decided to whip the wheels off to give them a good going over ahead of my big detail at the weekend.
The car has been crying out for it ever since Silverstone F1 where I was parked in a mud bath!
It doesn't look too bad there but once I had got off after being towed out, it was 10 times worse!
While I was there I cleaned the arches and gave the brakes a freshen up too.
Dirty wheel
Cleaned
3 layers of Blackfire Wet Diamond ( Brilliant stuff)
Clean arches
Painted disks and hub
Fresh calipers
Finished.
Tip: When you paint the disks make sure you go onto the disk ( like I have) , it might look bad now but once the brakes are pressed it removes the excess paint straight away, leading to a perfect edge all round
Oh and added a cheeky sticker
I won't keep it on long because I don't like stickered up cars, but it's just a bit of a laugh for the time being
Just need to do the bodywork now at the weekend
Where did you get the paint? I have had alot of trouble painting my calipers. Cant get the paint to hold. Also Any tips on painting em?
The red caliper paint or the silver paint?
The red is just hammerite smooth red, the calipers dont get anywhere near as hot as the disks so hammerite is fine for that. For the disks you need high temperature paint because they get extremely hot, especially when your giving it the beans
Tip: Preparation is the key. You could be the best painter in the world, but if you don't prep properly it will look **** after a few weeks/months.
Scrub them with a wire brush to get rid of any surface rust. Then spray on either brake cleaner/ degreaser/alcohol (IPA) and clean them thoroughly. Once they are dry just use a new brush with thin layers. Use a hairdryer inbetween coats. It doesn't have to be fully dry before another coat, just tacky. I did about 3/4 coats
Most important of all is to take your time, the results are worth it

Both. I think my problem was I applied too thicker coats. What's the best way to get off because this is some thick paint and sand paper clogs. I have proper calliper paint. The paint u used on the discs what brand is it? Knowing my luck I'll end up using rubbish paint and mess my discs haha. Cheers dude. I'm going to get equpt and sort my stuff. But cheers mate!

I would try and use a scraper or something similar to get the majority of it off and use a wire brush after that. Then clean them all down. I wouldn't worry if there is still some left as that must be bonded on pretty good if it wont come off with a wire brush anyway, so you will be safe to paint over it.

If you have VCDS, you can tell your car it has no rear wiper, so it won't try and push fluid through the washer tube, too!

I don't think so mate. There are loads of people on here running sportlines and have had no problems after years. Sportlines have improved the ride in my car and others too. Its always best if you get shocks to go with them but they simply are not needed. I would 100% reccommend sportlines to anyone
