Hi guys I just test drove one of these as I need something more Eco and get a 2nd car for the mrs and my mk2 is a costly toy!
Very nice car I must say but could someone who has one tell me if it's a big difference with a remap? I see revo say about 190bhp stage 1 so hoping that will change it up a bit.

Thanks

A 195 hp remap makes the cupra tdi a nice machine.
But your on the limit of the factory garrett mine failed after 20k but to be fair my mileage at failure was 133k. But be warned!
After the failure, I had a hybrid installed with custom Jabba map at 500nm and 215hp.
Proper fast and great fun.

Was it just a hybrid and map you had? Or other work like injectors etc? It would give me something to look forward to if mine ever fails.

This is what my old car ran before I sold it.
Stock injectors
Turbo Technics hybrid
Full magnex stainless with cat removed
Sachs organic clutch
New cam and tappets
EGR disabled
CAI (pipercross)
Jabba custom map
Jabba rolling road report/ map adjustment carried out at 153k showing 215hp and 370lbft
