Got mine fitted and will post pics up later. Makes the car look better and for £33 cant complain lol

Did you fit the HEKO ones pal? How many clips did you get if so, and where did you use the clips?

The company I bought them from provided only 4 clips, but their instructions show that 8 should be used

They're now telling me not to use clips at all on the front ones. Anyone help with this?

I also have 8 clips. I put 3 on each front one and then 1 on the rears as the rear seats are used once a month if i'm lucky, never mind the windows going down!

:( I'm a bit gutted now. They've removed the eBay listing too, so I can't even see if there were 8 or 4 clips advertised. It does say 8 on the instructions they sent me though.

I've not left feedback yet, so hopefully that'll be a last resort!

Will keep you posted!
Thanks

HEKO ones mate. got 8 clips, 2 for each window. Used 2 on each one on the front and one on the rear part.

You have to use the clips and extra double sided tape which i had lyin around at home

Got my spare clips last night from the company I bought them from...
Only problem is that they're about 2/3mm longer than the ones I got with the deflectors...
I assume they're for commercial vehicles that have deeper windowchannels...
Anyone reckon this will be a problem, or should they work?

Also... How do you get the clips out?

They should work as longer ones shouldnt be a problem aslong as they are the same shape.

I think to take them out, maybe a screwdiver to push them out, dont know if that will work but a suggestion

Aye, they're the same shape buddy, just taller by 3mm.
I'll have a go at fitting them in the AM tomorrow, then a wash and off out to show them off haha.
Standby for pics :)

Yes flat headed screwdriver will work i used one to mess about with the placing of the clips to get the best fit with no excess movement

Where did you fit them in the end pal? Instructions say about 10/15cm from each end...?

Help required quick sticks please gents!

The clips have a little spike on one side... Does that need to face the deflector or the inside of the window channel?

Thanks

It faces away from deflector and into the car window. Other way will scratch the deflector

Thought it'd scratch it, but wasn't sure if it needed to grip it.
You sir, are a saviour! :worship:

BRB, fitting them properly :p

Seeing as I'm inherently retarded, does these come with instructions.

Thinking about buying some HEKO ones from eBay.

@sfmk2 - Where did you buy yours from?

They do come with instructions, but the fitting is self explanatory (apart from which way around the clips are supposed to go...)

1 - peel back
2 - slide it in gently, front to back, flexing a little if needed
3 - jam in a few clips to stop it popping out when you go too fast

:cartman::lol::rofl::whistle:

If you need any help mate just ask one of us :)
Mine were about £35 off eBay, but the seller withdrew the item after I'd bought them and they haven't gone back up since. "J & J Automotive" I think they were called.
Just search for "Leon Mk2 (or 2006+) HEKO" on eBay and you should find them!

Anyway... Here they are fitted... sorry the pic is crap, I'll get some decent shots in the light when I have a mo'.
