Yeah yeah, I accept that hahahahha

:p

Kind of at a cross roads with modifications at the moment, got loads of plans but not sure where to go first.

Options are :

Decat downpipe and stage 2 mapping
16" Front wheels and semi slicks
VAGCOM Hex+Can Cable

Obviously going stage 2 will cost a lot more so may not be worth it at the mo. Was thinking of VAGCOM as I can use it to modify a few bits I want to try out and also data logging while @ Pod.

Hmmmmmmm decisions decisions.

Also decided to stretch her legs in the next couple of days and will be driving her to Scotland and back, should prove a nice long run.

Spent yesterday @ Santa Pod again for RWYB. Been so many times this year that my next trip is FREE  . There was a lot going on (X-Fest & RWYB w/Straightliners) so didn't get as many runs as the usual, only 7 this time.

Quickest time of the day was 14.15 @ 97.56 MPH

As you can see a couple of the runs ventured into the 15s, the car played up a little, I think due to getting too hot waiting on grid. I managed to launch off the line ok but the power seemed to cut out and I had to change gear early. Have done over 1,000 miles in the past 3 days so the car really does need a little rest. I checked the car over and ran diagnostic through Torque but it has no error codes stored on the ECU, will keep my eye on it.

When I get chance I will post up the video of my fastest run, apart from the minor power problems towards the end the car seemed happy and found a bit of grip even on the road tyres.

Also got to meet Tilley1, was nice speaking to you :D

What you thinking in terms of brakes? So the VRS have the same set-up as the cupra im presuming?

Im considering 312's on front for abit more stopping power as feel the brakes are ok for now but will want more once I put more power through it.

No resonable 4 pot set-ups im guessing then, the seat race set-up is a rip-off lol

I don't feel that the power the car has at the moment warrants a flashy brake setup to be honest. The 312mm is good enough for the TT & S3 so think they will be more than capable for the Fab even with Stg1 mods.

Couple this with the handling mods I have/am getting I think it will be a nice all rounder :)

Went out tonight and managed to do a little bit of damage to my front passenger tyre. Not exactly sure how this happened but I have a large gash ( ) in it :

So the car is looking a little bit ghetto now!

Tomorrow I'm on the hunt for either a set of 215/40/17 Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta or Uniroyal RainSport 2. The Sportmaxx's have done a good job but do need changing.
