Has anyone had problems with there back end steping out on mk2 leon fr. It feels quite skitish when i let my revs of going into corners this is with the traction control on. I nearly span out turning in at 40mph had to slam on the gas fast to counter.

Has anyone else had this similar problem or knows what the reason could be.

Lift off oversteer mate, it happens! Just be smoother with ur gas pedal or just braver and keep ur boot in!;)

I seem to be getting serious wear on the inside of the rear tyre on the passenger side. The drivers side isn't as bad.
Should say the car has 19's on and is dropped so low at the back that the tyres are sitting in the rolled arches.
Anyway went today to get the 4 wheel computer alignment and that told me they couldn't do it as the camber was out by 3degrees and there's no way they could bring that in. I've been told I have to raise the car and try again.

Can anyone advise on this

If they have a hunter rig then you get a before and after printout, so there is less to go wrong.

Just had mine looked at, camber is -2.15 each side on the rears, but they cannot adjust because the bushes are ceased, and you cannot heat it as it'll melt the rubber.

New suspension arms required! [:@] Will ask Dave@Sere for a quote.

Well the various garages are saying get new arms fitted, due o the way the bush is constructed.

That might just be because they want to fit suspension arms (more £££?). But I not see how I can sails tell.

£33 per arm at GSF.

What did you set the rear set to? I did not set the rear camber on mine to Manufacturers spec. IMO the manufacturers spec rear camber is a little too -VE camber. I kept mine a Little more upright to save tyre wear
TBH though I think 33K on the rear tyres is not too bad. How do you drive it? The more enthusiastic the less miles you get

Hi there !
Google brought me here eventually ! Just wondering would an Inca Van have similar camber and Toe-in settings as the settings shown on your screen shots in the opening post ?
Or if not would anyone here know the settings ?
Thanks !
I disturbed everything on the front drives at the weekend and I redid the camber with a spirit level and the toe-in with a string line. Drive is ok and straight etc but there's a bit of vibration that wasn't there before (I think !).
PS. I used 2 hose clips joined together to secure the big end of one of the drive boots and the tightening screws of the clips are not at 180° degrees to one another. I wonder could this unbalance the whole wheel at that side ?

Positive Total Toe

Positive total toe as in the pics in the opening post means Toe In as far as I can find out ?

Going to check if there's 1.3mm Toe In on my van.

The last tracking was done by my garage man but he doesn't have the laser setup and he didn't correct the camber angle. But the tyres didn't seem to wear too much since either so he must have got the toe in fairly right.

Only just seen this thread. My car (Lean Fr Tdi 2011) was out, felt like it was crabbing and I always had to steer right to go straight.

Had the car set up by Seat New Barnet "per spec" and didn't cure. Took it to Wheels in Motion in Chesham and they sorted it once and for all. It's been perfect for the past 5k

How much would you expect to pay for 4 wheel aligment (roughly?)
