Phwoah!! That looks like a class little meet!! Its a shame its so far away!!

Im officially in love with Skoda VRS's after driving my mates over the last weekend.. Its completely standard too.. Yours must be a monster.. It might just be because my car is dog slow in comparison and coming straight out of that into the skoda was a massive step up.. But anyways.. Im in love with them, and yours is a perfect example..

Isnt there any cheaper alternatives for downpipes for the 1.4? Im thinking about cutting the cat out and replacing it will a sports one, as im guessing the pipe itself isnt that restrictive, thats unless the CAT is in the downpipe itself.

Really nice car aswell BTW, the tuning box looks decent, need to decide between that and p-torque.

The meets look great aswell, shame i dont live closer would like to come have a look.

Thanks mate :)

This is the cheapest downpipe with a sports/race cat I have seen. Other options are Milltek and Supersprint but both command a higher price. I could get a decat DP and save a couple of hundred but not sure if it's what I want, would be good to hear some opinions from people that have it though.

The box is a good bit of kit, I'm pleasantly surprised and happy with it but in the quest for a faster 1/4 mile time I'm sure it will soon end up redundant.

That would be nice to be hitting the 13 second barrier lol!

Just not sure how a decat would sound on this car, I don't want it to become loud to the point where it's irritating.

 I knew you say that!

Really would need it mapped at the same time and even getting a decat done @Powerflow I don't think I will have enough to get it flashed as well.

Decat in its own with the standard exhaust wont sound that meaty, just abit of burble.

CAT is the most restrictive part of the zaust so a few bhp can be betted aswell.

Cheers bud, when you next at Pod?

I think they are worth it, why are you having the map removed??

Guide for installation, it's simples :)

my engine management light came on :( and i took it back too the bloke who re-mapped it, and he told me it was warranty work that needed doing so i got the map took off, to save any hassle with the dealer, now its fixed i dont want a re-map again, so im looking into tuning boxes, and ive spoke to TMC and a few other places but a few people have told me go with TMC as they have proven results :) and a decent 30bhp gain, its £300 for the box so i hope itll be good :)

If you go decat Loz you need a cat (or a friendly MOT dude) or your car will fail on emmisions. Just bear that in mind mate. Decat would see you net the best gains but yeah you need the map too......

Ahhh ok that's not good. I'd say as a benchmark that the box alone will give just over 20bhp. Take a look at this little review I did

I'd have it so it's swappable with the OEM pipe for when the MOT is due bud :) modifying cars is so dang expensive, it's all your fault
