What is the metal coming of the nuts for?

It's a removable brace and I belive they are what you use to tighten it up.
Mine has arrived and I'll be picking it up tomorrow. Two guess what I'll be doing tomorrow night!

I have one, got it about two years ago and love it! Never taken it out or adjusted it mid you. But think soon I'll be dispensing with it when I fit my roll cage, just extra weight then! Great bit of kit and superb quality!

If you look on page one there is an email address. Email Mike and if you ask nicely and get at least five of you ordering one he may do another batch. Mike unfortunately no longer has his engineering shop due to the recession. But if you can get the numbers he'll do a batch. They are a great looking bit of kit and very easy to fit. However I'm still not convinced how well they stiffen the chassis up. May be it'll have more of an effect once I've fitted coilovers and a rear ARB?

I ordered one from Mike in early December and got it within 10 days.

I have found a big difference with the strut brace installed. The car turns much sharper, and the bodyroll is substantially reduced. I was unsure how much it would with this installed but it has exceeded my expectations. I have a couple of the front strut bars still to fit so I'm very glad I fitted this first to really appreciate the improvement it has made.

Rear Brace

Hey there guys... Been reading the whole thread and all pages... Alota guys have their opinions on whether it really does help. And I'm sure it stiffens and provides a benefit to the amount of roll esp in corners. I'd like to put my name down for one. Really interedted in this kit. :)
