hello everyone, i have been meaning to do one of these for a long time but never got round to doing one so hear goes

back in november i brought a mk1 LCR after selling my ep3 type r. i decided i needed a change from the ep3 because it was too loud bumpy and vtec was doing my nut in its a grate system when your out on the back roads but to get it to move you have realy got to grab it by the scruff of the neck and nail it not for me any more so i decided i had never owned a turbo car so why not get one. had a look at all sorts renault megan sports mk 2 focus st mk 1 rs and so on but then a guy at work said his mrs wanted to seel her lcr so i organised a test drive with him as soon as i had finished i put the type r up for sale i was sold with it.about 2 weeks later i picked the lcr up it came with full service history on an 05 plate with only 44 thousond miles on it between its last mots it had only done 4500 miles or so it realy wasnt used at all to top it all off he had it custom mapped aswel.

first jobs were sort out the head lights changed them for 6k HIDS and side lihts to match. i then got some mk4 golf rear led numberplate units and a forge 008. once that was all fitted i decided for xmas i need a badger 5 induction kit. this kit is spetacular its a little ore expensive than others but comes with everything thats requierd (TIP, jetex cone filter and heat shield). i fitted this at work just before xmas because i couldnt wait. it realy dose sharpen up throttel response and the noise is good althugh not as good as my ep3 induction kit. i have also brough and fitted a nomad boost gauge piller pod with auto gauge boost gauge/newspeed anti buz t pice a fabia rear wiper and now my best mod so far a full turbo back with decat/non res cobra sport system. bellow is a current spec list and things i want to do to the car when money allows thanks for looking

current spec

forge 008 rec-valve
6k HIDS
side ligts to match
golf mk4 led no plate units
fabia rear wiper conversion

I've always wanted an ek9 but just too much money for a decent one. I'm saving up for cobra exhaust and then want to get gt28rs turbo kit or frankenturbo k04 hybrid kit.

Looks great mate and the exhaust sounds amazing too! Hope you have plenty of time to fit your FMIC as I have heard bad things about the txautosport intercoolers and the fitament of them. Let me know how you get on though!

Thanks mate the exhaust is quality relay like it. The cooler wasn't to bad had it done in about 4 hours. Would of took less but the bumper was a pig to refit couldn't get it back into the groove on the wings lol the kit is good but no forge. Will update the RR soon have been realy busy with work

today i was going to remove my "LEON" badge on the boot but when a little mad and ended up doing a full detail. which included wheels washed and dressed, snowfoamed, washed, clayed washed again then matchine polished glazed and then finaly waxed i also have some photos of the the car and the fmic i fitted a few weeks ago and i also had it rolling roaded unfortunatly she didnt make what i was expecting due to a combonation of a naff map and crap fuel only 247bhp without the intercooler as i didnt have it fitted at the time. sopken to nick at r tech who were next door to where it was roaded said i shoud run it on 99, fit the cooler and come back for stage two which is what i was going to do untill the clutch started to slip the other day so that will have to be done first. anyway hears some photos
