Love the fact this gets used properly lol. Do you have any more plans performance wise? Also do you run a full interior for the 1/4 or strip the rear out?

 cheers mate

Power wise nothing really unless I come into a bit more cash, just going to do some handling bits (tyres, rarb, brakes) just so it can use all available power.

Rear seats were taken out for this.

 that's the same reaction it got at Pod!

I told one guy at Pod on Saturday morning the time I got, later in the day I spoke to him again and he said "I honestly thought you were lying as I didn't believe this car could go that fast but seeing is believing"

I like that factor of the car, there still doesn't seem that many at Pod so people aren't sure what to expect.

Wicked car this :)

The surprise factor you're getting is awesome too, as there isn't many around.

I would have one if I could run another car on the side.

I also managed to find another race blue vRS with standard suspension. I think mine sits perfectly compared to standard. (Cameraphone)

Thanks mate, for the time being it will stay at that height but it's possible it may change.

welldone mate your car looks quality! what next then ? :)

cheers bud, well looking at either a full set of Federal 595RS-R 215/40/17 or x2 new alloys and x2 Toyo R888 205/40/17. Then I really want a RARB, 312mm brakes and then who knows. Power wise I'm happy as it is now although I do want a sub 14s 1/4 mile.

Spent the day at Pod again today, weather turned out to be good, if not a little warmer than expected!

I ran the car the same as two weeks ago but made minor adjustments during the day. I dropped the pressure of the front tyres and tried setting 8 on the tuning box. Unfortunately running the higher setting without giving it time to bed in cut the power the turbo was giving me so I dropped it back to 7. I managed to get 18 runs in today, the best being 14.18 @ 98.39MPH

I also downloaded the Live Timing app for my phone which connects to the Santa Pod system and reads all the data they see :). Now I don't need to get my timing slip after every run!

Got some great comments from people that couldn't believe how quick the car was which was nice. The car is now running at a constant 14.2-14.3 1/4 mile at this level of tune. If I'm honest I'm not sure if, without further mods and/or semi slicks that the car will drop below 14s. Ill be starting a saving fund to go Stage 2 for next years street challenge as I believe a 13.7-13.8 time will be achievable.
