150pd boost pressure

Hi, all, Ive got a 55 plate leon fr+ its running standard at the mo, Im about to order an oil pressure guage and a boost gauge (phantom's). I believe the standard boost pressure on a 150 is about 25psi, is this correct ? also Im thinking of gettting custom code to do a stage 1 job for me after christmas, what will this take the boost to ? will I be ok with a boost gauge that goes to 30psi or will I need a 35psi jobby to be on the safe side ?

Standard boost pressure on a 150tdi is something around 16,17,18psi, mapped they go to around 22,23,24 psi.

Cheers fella, I knew that tdi boost pressures are way up on petrol ones, just couldnt remember by how much. Now I can order my guages.

I believe 1.3 bar is stock pressure on pd130, and the pd150 is 1.35 bar, so 19 psi / 19.6 psi stock.

You'll end up with the turbo destroying itself via overspeeding the turbo. That boost is far too high for a standard PD150 turbo

Max boost on the ARL is 1.5 atmospheres, 21 psi.

That's stock max boost on an ARL, (2500 mBar Absolute) so approx 21 PSI. Normally about 24-25PSI mapped.
