Clutch Pedal Question - advice needed

my clutch pedal box is on its way - it has a break, but not in the same place as everyone else - i did what any grown mad would do and took it to my dad to fix.

sadly, he gave up, cause it was a Sunday evening at 7pm and he know that top gear was on, and had to tidy the garage, so i lost out :) and to be fair, he had tried 3 times and failed with a botch-it job.

if welding works, i may try that - it will be cheaper, i bought the car for £600 and have alreasy spent £1200 repairing the bleedin' thing - no love lost though

This thread is old lol

For the record it was my clutch pedal that got welded and still to this day is going strong and never had a problem since. Ive probably done about 40k miles since this too:)
