How much does his Ibiza weigh?

I've just got the 595RS-R's on mine today and can already tell the difference on a launch!

I would have thought a rear strip would save 30kgish?

With water methanol injection and the hybrid even if it gave a 30 bhp advantage, that is still 12% more power.

He's got a proper stripped interior, lightweight alloys/brakes/ race seat etc

TSR made a custom air intake with a return from the oil catch tank in s/steel, another first.

Looks quite good I think. Have they improved on the intake feeds at all?how much did it cost.

I have some lightweights and does make a dramatic improvement. You guys off to santa pod on march 25th. I plan to see where i am.

at Santapod this morning, 8.10am, cold,+1 rising to +6 when I left. 40mpg on the way there. Ran 4 times, up against a modified blue mini cooper s, ford escort rs2000, an audi r3 and a black seat leon cupra with red wheels and a double red strip on the bonnet/roof also modified.(anyone know this car?) quicker than all of them, but glad I didn't run against the impreza doing 9 sec 1/4s. grip issues due to temp and running a 95 octane map = 13.9 @100.3 mph. not too bad! video clip on youtube 'TSR Ibiza Cupra @ Santapod RWYB 19/2/12' watch that impreza in front fly.

what dump valve are you running? or is that the forge spacer?

Good terminal speed for 13.9. Yeah ive got some rsrs on mine at the moment. Shocking wheelspin in the cold at the moment. Your running revo stage 2 now? With high octane and setting b plus decent track temp thats gunna be an impressive time. You could prob get away with setting c for a run with your intercooler spray too. Will be down next month with full stage 2 decat, lightweight alloys on semi slicks, twintercooler and itg induction kit. Aiming to get similar times to you, low 13s.

Engine revvyness & DSG makes me miss my Ibiza

Mine was brilliant now it has died again. Sat on the drive way, turns over wont start. RAC bod came out reckons its a fueling issue. Could be the pump or a solenoid. He felt bad that it would not start. Contacting dealer to come tow it away to their workshop first thing in the morning. Effing thing! When it goes its great, 2 years of grief. Not long to the new car thank christ.
