+1 for the Osrams. And as for 2 Mk3 Cupra backboxes, I've had no luck in finding any ... I've kept an eye on ED38, eBay and PH... My backbox is huge, and hits bumps etc. I'd like a more OEM looking zorst

Abit of an update:

So today I got home from work and found these waiting for me,

The white envelope contained,

4 Red Micro Led bulbs for a little idea that I currently have.

Next up was to open the box and this is what it I found in it,

My new exhaust which is getting fitted on Thursday. I know it wont be to everyones tastes but after 2 Mk3 Cupra backboxes I fancied something alittle different. As good as the Mk3 Cupra backbox is IMO the tips are alittle too small for the size of the car and seem 'lost' on the back end. These are slightly bigger so hopefully they will make a difference.

Im thinking of selling my Hids and really going for the Osrams, think thats my mind made up. Yep Ive had 2 of them, 1st one I got on Ebay and the 2nd I got through the garage I use as they have an account at TPS. Im trying this new exhaust for something alittle bit different and well I could get this one quick.

the back box looks ok craig!! hope it has a nice burble to it? dont know if you have noticed but on mine it has a remus back box with 2 square pipes. i havnt seen many of them around either. it will need ajusting as its blowing somewhere. anyway its good to be abit diferent, if people dont try these things then we wont know if they work or not!! get some pics up when it is on!

Dont know how it sounds yet Phil, will find that out once it is fitted on Thursday!! I like being alittle bit different, hence why I went for a grey roof as opposed to black and went for a set of bucket seats and rear half leathers instead of an 8v/16v/Mk3 Cupra interior. If the exhaust doesnt work I will look for something else and sell this one on.

I was abit worried that when it came it would be abit 'Chav' but it isnt that much bigger than the Mk3 Cupra backbox tips.

Need to see about how to run the wiring etc of the leds before I can go any further with them.

My car isnt Chav at all when you see some of them in my area!! . The 'Cruiser87' came from when I was setting up my hotmail account. Tried to set up an email address with my name and year of birth but all the ones I tried were taken so it gave a list of suggestions/alternatives and after looking through several pages I got bored and that was one of them so I just went with that.

Got my car back today and I really love my new exhaust!!! .

Even though its basically a 'universal' one it isnt stupidly loud, it sounds awesome! . Has a nice burble to it, it is only alittle bit louder than the Mk3 Cupra one I had on previously. Not to loud when cruising but you know its there when you put the foot down. Had to get a new centre section aswell as the old Mk3 Cupra one was on its way out aswell.

Quite like how the tailpipes sit just now, looks rather subtle. Basically the tip of the tail pipe sits behind the black trim of the bumper, a section of the black has been removed so you can see most of the tailpipes. It has had to be done like this because of the middle section and the design of the backbox etc. I will get a picture at some point over the weekend and maybe even a video of how it sounds.

Yep you can just see them. I like how subtle that they are, they sit just a little forward from where a standard backbox would be.

I got the same exhaust as you. I think it suits the car, not to everyones taste though but I like it.

I agree with what you say, it isn't to everyone's taste but I really like it and like how it suits the rear of the Ibiza.

Im the opposite to you, I think it isn't that loud, I thought it would be alot louder with it being a universal type. Its alittle louder than the Mk3 Cupra one I had before but not stupidly loud.

Sorry about the quality, these are the best I could do as it was starting to get dark when I got home from my fiancee's. I will get better pictures at some point.

I know that the car needs a wash but I havent had a chance to do it yet and with the salt on the roads etc it doesnt stay clean long .

Currently looking at some new wheels for the mk2 and I am browsing a few places online and in a few magazines.

I am really fancying a set of Rota's. Fancying trying them as they are something alittle different and I havent saw a set of them on a mk2 yet.

What do people think?
