Rear Wiper Fabia Coversion Failure

Just tried to fit the Fabia mod- (Ebay Item number: 110797290917)
Part Numbers in kit
6Y9955707A – Fabia Estate Wiper Arm -
6Y0955425 – Fabia Estate Wiper Blade -
6Y6955435 – Fabia Hatchback Wiper Cover -
I've seen several referances to this successful mod on these forums and wanted to rid myself of that noisy, awkward rear blade too. Is mine the only Mk1 leon with the washer squirt coming from the wiper hub ?
Thus making this mod impossible or can it be modded itself
I will try to add pictures to explain but would like some quick help please

BTW-Car was imported new from Holland and specced to SE+ uk spec

IIRC the wiper cover has a slot that covers about a quarter of the circumference to allow the water to come through?

Guessing you got the estate wiper cover by mistake. They dont have the washer jet in the arm

Those are the right part numbers, I got mine from Skoda direct last week fitted it within 10 mins.

Yep as above, you've got the wrong cover mate. Had mine on for a few years now with only the blade needing changed.

I have the fabia conversion and its fine. the cover as said above should have a slit in it to allow the jet to squirt out, you could just modify the cover you have by cutting a slit in it

Double check that wiper cap that you has the same part number as you listed above. When i was getting mine from the dealer he gave me an estate cap but just mentioned that i had the wrong part number for it. He just assumed i wanted ir for a fabia estate!!

Yep It is the wrong cover
Mentioned to the ebayer and she's sending me another (right) one in next post -good girl
easy mod to do too only takes a few mins- Old cover's a bit brittle tho..
