The throttle body cover looks very at home Richard!

I didn't want to clog up your thread with pictures, but I have my twin air feed routed through the gap between the front bumper and the side wing (same place as where the intercooler pipework lives), and this leads to the air filter besides the battery. I used 100mm neoprene ducting but for the bit that is visable in the bay, I used some SS tubing and Forge piping (but not necessary); the point is that there's room if you wanted to have a play around and you can achieve a fairly un-noticeable look. Furthermore, the twin-feed's function is pretty good, over other options IMO.

Can I ask, what was the pipe diametre for the red piping that leads from the manifold to the coolant tank (brake servo bits i think...), etc? Also, is the diametre the same as the piping you've used from the throttle body? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hope you had a good Christmas buddy?

James.

Cheers James, I was wanting airfeeds both sides of the battery. I may get some sillicone hose for the bits you can see, as Sam said it tidies up the mess under it.

The hose is 8mm, its the same stuff I used for the PCV removal, most the hose sizes can be found here.

Richard:)

Thanks mate:D

Hose prices depend on where you get them from, Forge.

Nothing major going on, as you all know RobDon has broken his LEON. Unfortunately due to Christmas I didnt have the cash to buy any performance parts off him but took the opportunity to get my hands on a couple of things I've been looking at for a while:

P1040566.jpg

Headlight protectors - always fancied lightly tinting the headlights but never fancied tinting the actual lights, I've been looking around for headlight protectors for a while so I can try it out and if it doesnt work then its easily rectified (they wont be staying as dark as in the pic)

2.0t coilpacks and INA adapters - always been intrigued by these, thought I'd give them a go. If I get no gains from them, then at least I'll be running more reliable coilpacks. For the price I cant complain. Thanks again Rob :D

I'm also getting a custom catch can built with 19mm inlets, I've never had a problem with the toyosport can thats fitted but its just for piece of mind. Sam kindly gave me a copy of his design for the can so once done it should look similar to that. Cheers Sam :D

Finally cars in for a service the end of the month so the coilpacks will be getting swapped after that. I'm also hoping to get the wheels refurbished in the near future (high power silver) in readiness for my possible trip to AMD, depending on whether or not I get tickets for the derby (D.K's fault if I dont make it ;))

Reducing the knock is the idea, mine isnt excessive but it would be good to see 0's. I'm not going to turn anything up until the rods are done now so I can have piece of mind. Just need to raise some cash.
