when you ring up people who say their cars are 16vs and just to make sure you get them to send pics of seats, clocks and engine. and turns out 90% are EFFING 8v!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You want quick reliable motoring you should thank them for selling you an 8v :p

8v = poo, 16v= driving fun. im not for the whole reliable thing.

Oh no, bullshit valve arguement again :handbags:
Gets boring.

Paul, mine was bang reliable, things that went wrong were never engine related, so thats not accurate.

Pete, you can't argue, yours had similar power to 8v's lol

Both good, if they are looked after, and both good in different rights, I been in 8v's loads, I liked them, but preferred my 16v, I guess its same for everyone else (except pete...thinks his willy might grow to be average size if he has the extra 8v'ssssssssss) ;) (PS I am kidding dude lol)

Only one way to settle this kiddies.

We need a standard 8v and a standard 16v and a track. We gotta find out how much those extra 8v's are worth when theres coroners and straights.

I am happy to donate my standard 8v for this experiement.

apart from the fact i sold mine not really but might buy nother one for shits and giggles,

what was your 16V Pete.. 143 bhp?.. you had both mine and Cluurs (beezertarts ) 8 valvers running at @ 133bhp without any real mods to engine etc so your hardly qualified to blow it out yer arse ;)
