A little reflection, it is about a year since my power steering pulley decided it didnt want to be connected to the pump any more

thats what you get for living in scotland haha :p snow before the rest of us lol

Totally different to last year though, last year at this time we had 2-3 feet of the stuff .

Much easier getting to and from work this year in the Ibiza.

get a set of phat wheels and paint them some looney colour!

Thats what I was thinking or just a set of wheels with a mad colour too stand out.

Mk3 cupra starfish wheels look PENG on mk2's.. One near me and it looks class! Quite original, and nothing out of the ordinary, but it looks subtle, and pretty cool

I am sort of drawn to those as they look awesome on the mk2!!

Thats what Im thinking Phil, or just a different/new look for next year.

Currently thinking of ideas for next year. I think I need something new or a 'different look' for 2012 but trying to look for new wheels or something, really need some inspiration. :banghead:

Today I have seriously been thinking of selling the car and maybe having a change and get something more reliable and sensible etc . But I had a browse on ebay earlier and Im thinking of getting a lower mileage lump, but then I got another idea during it.

colour coded door handles + mirrors, opening rear quarters, de-wiper the boot lid ;)

I quite like the black handles to break the white up abit, although...........[B)] Mirror covers are already colour coded, got that done when my roof was done and the boot lid is de-wipered, just with a rubber grommet just now though.

a set of candy red modernlines!

That would be awesome but those wheels are just so expensive.

Small update.

Had a few more ideas regarding the wheel situation, just need to speak to a few people to see how much work is involved in one of them.

Have another little idea I am going to attempt after reading a few threads and got the idea, got the parts required to do it. Need to get my Rev Counter wired up fully so it read Revs.

My exhaust has been blowing for the last few days but on the way home from work tonight the pipe has completely came away from the backbox. As money as tight after xmas I needed something relatively cheap so have bought the following:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en#ht_4703wt_932

Reasons for this were that it was relatively cheap and Ive had 2 Mk3 Cupra backboxes which havent last that long and also fancied going for something alittle bit different. Hopefully it will last longer as it is stainless steel and comes with a free fitting kit too. If I dont like it once it is on I will take it off in the spring and sell it on.

After running normal headlight bulbs for a while Hids arent really that much better IMO so I am thinking of selling my Hid kit on and getting a set of Osram Nightbreakers or similar.

Cool. Bad news about the zaust. Mine's blowing like hell now, it's only a matter of time before it falls apart - there's a significant decrease in power which I really don't like.

Would like to see these things come into place.. Was looking at that exhaust myself, but have decided that a supersprint cupra backbox would look and sound a little better.. Hopefully...

I have been looking at stickers myself, and just dont know what to go for.. What do you recommend..

Car is now booked in to get the exhaust fitted next Thursday. And the exhaust I ordered last night was dispatched today!

I know, my exhaust sounds awesome the way that it is just now but dont like the reduced fuel economy I am getting with it :(.

I decided to go for that backbox to do something alittle different. If I dont like the exhaust Ive bought I will change it in the better weather. Money was tight just now with it being so close after xmas etc so thought I would try this one for abit.

me and afew others will vouch for the osram night breakers. very good bulbs they are!

Think I am going to get a set of these bulbs after the winter and get them on. Could always sell my Hids on to fund them :p.
