Bill, is the 330mm 2 piece disc as straight swap on the LCR or do i need extra stuff to make fit?

Has anybody ran brake ducting to help cooling, i could only find 2 decent threads.

mine is designed to bolt on std LCR... you get the caliper spacers with the rotor setups
same brakes my racecar runs on... Proven!

My Wife has decided to buy me a new brake setup for christmas as she had no clue what to get me, i pointed her towards the Godspeed 330mm 2-Piece setup, happy days

Braided lines and new pads are on order as well, currently reseaching the best brake fuild but it for sure has to be upgraded.

Another TB has gone on me, WTF, thats the 3rd, also the CTS is throughing errors, what a pain.

Small update for ya'll.

New brake setup on the way consisting of the below.

Front 330mm 2-piece Godspeed discs(arrived :) ) http://www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk/~godspeed/product.php?id_product=82
Rear 256mm Godspeed Discs, no link, but Godspeed do sell the 256mm rears.

Castrol SRF brake fluid.

After reading tons of threads and technical info on DV i think its high time to move away from the slow piston type valve and go back to diaphram based ones, so i ordered a MADMAX Evo DV.

Can't wait for this new setup, i'd say it will rock.

Clutch is still giving me some bother whereby the bite point changes when the clutch pedal is fully depressed, so when i am in traffic and depress the pedal its fine, then all of a sudden the clutch engages and the car moves forward, i have bleed the brakes twice now and it fixes it temporarily, so i am at a loose, i really hope its not the master cyclinder.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

( and to continue on the OE failures, my High level brake light has stopped working, Mo Fo)

Godspeed are only 20 mins up the road for me and sound professional when ever i've spoken to them. madmax has got me thinking as to upgrading my dv also to one of his but i didn't realise he sold them professionally i thought he modded ones people sent him. Can you pm me a cost please.:)

Hi Carl,

Thats good to hear about Godspeed, they seem to have good reviews on the other forums so fingers crossed.The NDX pads are also getting really good reviews and don't cost much more than the DS2500 but are meant to have a slight edge over them.

Max is now doing a kit, its not the nicest looking kit in the world but you should see what its doing performance wise and its nothing a polish won't sort out.

Hope we all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy new year to you all.

Santa came to me this year i must have been a very good boy indeed.

The Godspeed 330mm disc look the part at least, they seem huge when there not on the car.
The BlueStuff NDX pads arrived along with the rear discs and braided lines.
I have them all fitted(apart from the braided lines) now and have put up about 200miles on the car of normal braking so any day now i will bed the discs and pads in.

REading around on the internet the NDX pads are getting great reviews for performance but have a rather drawn out bed in process which is a bit of a pain but hopefully worth it, you can feel on moderate braking from speed in excess of 65-70mph rather violent juddering coming back up through the steering wheel, lite braking is fine and i have been assured this is normal until they are ready to fully bed in!

The bed in process is 20 stops from 60 to 10mph and 10 stops from 80 to 30 in succession followed by normal driving to let them cool off after this i should have a nice even contact band on the disc, we will see eh.But i have been warned to expect extreme brake fade during the process and to be as brutal as possible with them, i.e get them smoking before they can be considered, "fully bedded in", this has me worried LOL and i don't know how EBC could consider this OK for a street pad bedding in process, rather dangerous tbh.

yes i know my caliper are filthy..

i didnt take any pics of doing the rear discs and pads, i will get the car cleaned up and post some then.

(Mental note to self, buy a fcuking caliper rewind tool you mean fcuker)

Nice build mate, EBC bluestuffs are not road legal pads with regards to bed in process not being safe for road pads ;)
