Just too add I am loving driving the car again after the new clutch! :D!

Car looks gorgeous as ever mate.
You make me want to get a respray on my Ibiza.

Also, love that cheeky Leon in the background!

Thanks mate!! :thanks:. Glad I put the 2 layers of wax on when I prepared it for winter, made it so much easier to clean!!
Only part of my car thats been fixed/resprayed is the passenger side, drivers rear quarter and the roof (obviously )

Thats why I picked that space so I could get a the Leon in the background of a few of them! That is an awesome car, Kiwi Green/Yellow (same as the Mk2 Ibiza Colour) and full BTCC bodykit on it.

Thanks mate! [B)]. That was only a wash and a going over with some rapid detailer (left my spray on Demon Shine at the fiancee's ). Put 2 layers of wax on getting it ready for winter and its doing its job so far.

I know what you mean, We are just missing the "Tsshhhhhhh", I might have it one day!

I know, sig pic will be changed at some point!

Even though the Ibiza is running perfectly just now Im at the point that I dont know what to do with it.

Do I:
  • Finish it off and enjoy it
  • Sell it as it is and get something else
  • Strip some of the parts and sell it standard-ish
  • Enjoy It.

I really dont know what to do :banghead::banghead2 . Im struggling for ideas about what to do/tweek next and I think that is why I am thinking the way that I am.

I am open to any suggestion etc from people, need some sort of inspiration .

Very interesting thread mate love the colour! makes me want a mk2 as a project aswell as my one haha!

Thanks mate. I really love the colour aswell, you dont see many mk2's in this colour. They are even rarer in Gti form.

...

But the rest of the post...

I know what you mean mate.

Been thinking about it today and I think it will be abit of a 'waste' getting rid of the car just now, just had the roof done for a few months and just had the clutch fitted. May aswell try and finish the car and make it look much better than it is just now!

Well, there was what you said, then what I said you needed to do, to pull it off, then you said yeah, you're going to do it...

I get what bit you mean now. Only thing is I would have convert to 5 stud set-up. There is a second idea that I had which I briefly mentioned on facebook. I know they would fit no problem etc but finding a set for 'reasonable' money is difficult as I have been looking already.

Could always try and steal/acquire Mike's set

Time for a small-ish update:

Woke up to go to work this morning and was greeted by this:

Had abit of a worry about how the Falkens would be in the snow. Before I had bought them I had read some reviews of them and a few said that they were good in the snow we had last year. , They are just 'normal' tyres, none of your fancy winter ones, they have been made to work in lower temperatures in the first instance but I was really impressed with how they were in the snow :funk:. Had no instance of sliding or losing grip.

One thing though that the snow has highlighted that I have abit of a sticky rear brake which will need looking at.

Also bought some a couple of new stickers:

.

Hoping to get some pictures of them on the car at the weekend.
